A new type of car doesn't come along every day. In a market that's already saturated with vehicles, it's not easy to dream up something entirely new. It's yet another challenge to execute it successfully and build that concept into a car people actually want.

You need to stop using that vile expression immediately! Only God is holy. God the Father, God the Son, and of course, God the HOLY SPIRIT. That foul, smelly, repugnant waste product that comes out of your rectum is NOT HOLY and should not be placed in the same category as the Lord Himself. I realize that in contemporary society, some people use that foul expression, but it only serves to malign and blaspheme our true and great creator God. Your words are sinful and will be recorded by the Lord Himself until you repent of that ridiculous expression.

I often get 70+ city AND I find myself driving a lot safer to get better MPG! Lol
I love how it drives, I have plenty of space, and I hardly ever put gas in my car anymore even though I drive a lot. I do have to say, enjoying this car takes a lot of practice though cause you really have to learn how to accelerate, how to break, and how to cruise. I love my Prius C. 💝

to save gas, to adapt to the harsh reality of future gas prices. So, yeah. keep putting in that 50-100 bucks every 2 weeks worth of gas in your POWERFUL Car, when you drive within the speed limit most of the time anyways or risk the chance of eating a hundred dollars ticket. I own a prius, and I also own a yamaha R1 that compensate for the "thrill and speed" I seek where you really can't compare with your "powerful" car.

If they made these green cars look cool they would sell more and it wouldnt have a gay stigma. I was going to buy this car. Got over the exterior. Got over the low acceleration. But the interior looks stupid. Wtf. Make fuel efficient cars look cool inside and out! Why makem look gay as fuck...so no one buys them cuz secretly car manufacturers have a thing with the oil companies...

Does anyone know at what speed the pure electric motor switches off and the gas guzzler kicks in?
Has anyone tried taking one of these on a longer journey, as in a good half day or two at highway speeds, across country?
If so, what was it like? Is it still fuel efficient and good to drive, or does it suck back the gas and bounce all around the road like a rubber ball?

    • @saleemjavaid8870

I live in Florida and drive an Infiniti V8. My brother in Pakistan has this in 2017 model but it’s called Toyota Aqua. It’s essentially same as US model. I drove it. The fuel economy is as advertised even higher in city. Motor starts to kick in around 20-30 kmh. The ride is okay, not too harsh not too soft. It’s not a performance car but it’s peppy. Regarding longer journey, I drove 10,000 miles in 5 months and took a lot of longer trips. It’s pretty comfortable for 2-3 hrs but then my butt got sore so I had to take a break. So if you take breaks every 2-3 hrs, it’s not that bad. There are no arm rest though. Can cruise comfortably at 75-80mph. Interior is mix of cheap plastic and some nice glossy finishes.

Bought a Prius C (4) Fun to drive, saving me $200 a month in gas. Interior looks way better than the 1 & 2. Averaging 53 miles per gallon compare to 14mpg on my previous car. Slow aceleration but it is worth the savings. Only complaint no rear camera. Don't buy the extended warranty and service plus if offered. Over priced. Read your manual for internal service and you will see what I mean.

We have that model car, and as of this October 2018 had no issues. But, yesterday, the car started to blare its horn intermittently, like an alarm, as soon as we left the driveway in the morning. It stopped after a few blares. The horn did this again an hour later, as I was driving at 40 miles/hour. I stopped immediately, put the shifter in P, the back to Drive; the horn stopped. So, this may not affect the performance, but it’s a real alarm about electronic circuitry.

On average, typical euro cars have less displacement, because they are more concerned with mpgs that 0-60 times like most Americans. They'll also use direct injection, turbos, and diesel for more mpgs, because they pay almost double for gas. Besides favoring larger cars, Americans don't wanna pay a lot for a compact car (even with better engine tech) because there's a social stigma in small eco cars. There's simply not the same market demand here yet - but it's changing.
