OMG I have watched so many videos trying to fix a messed up tumbler!!! I've been told to put them in an oven and so much more and I've tried it all!!! YOU, baby are the FIRST the ONLY person that has a procedure that actually works 100%!!! THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! I am now a loyal follower of yours!!! No need for me to look anywhere else!!!
Great video, thank you! I have a lot of tumblers that I messed up (learning) and I'm so glad I kept them and didn't throw them away. I kept thinking there had to be something I could do with them and now you've showed me! Thank you!! Subscribed!
Thank you thank you thank you for this! I have 23 tumblers I was ready to donate because I tried everything! I tried to bake the images off with no avail. I plan on selling them as blanks now! Thank you for allowing me to make something rather than nothing!!
I don't do sublimation, but I bought a WHOLE CASE of sub tumblr's because it was a style I liked that they didn't offer in regular stainless. I figured I could figure something out how to make them usable for me. I tried your method tonight and this was so easy and took all the sub coating off! Thank you so much
I can't believe HOW EASY it came out. I saw a video to use pure nail polish remover and it was sooooo strong and sometimes it gave me a hard time. Thank you
Thanks Regina - I am new to sublimation and messed up my first tumbler. While searching for ways to removed/repair my tumbler - I am SO happy that I found your video. Ordering the CitrisStrip today . THANK you very kindly - YOu have made my day.
I just threw one in my kitchen trash yesterday after trying to bake off and redo unsuccessfully. Digging it out of my trash today. So very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you, this worked great. I had some tumblers that I had baked to lighten the design because I had planned to resublimate using a darker design but they didn't lighten up as much as I wanted and a few I had not baked yet. I decided to combined your technique with anoter video I had seen. I've thought about learning to do epoxy but wasn't sure if I can aford adding another craft to my repretoire. I saw another video where the man sanded his tumblers and then used high heat white spray paint and Polygloss to recoat the tumbler lfor sublimation. You can add polygloss directly to the silver tumbler and resublimate as well. Your tutorial saved me the step of sanding and the cost of having to buy an electric sander. For some reason the tumblers that I had baked were harder to strip, I ended up leaving them wrapped overnight. Thanks again.
You can also use pure acetone and it comes right off. Even if you mess up epoxy, pure acetone will take it off. You could buy it by the gallons as a nail salon store or a hair store.
Only if you respray a sublimation spray like Subli-glaze. They have it in white which is what you need. I'm going to experiment with the ones I'll strip down.
Thank you thank you thank you. I was just gifted 40 tumblers that have sublimation on them. I was hoping I could strip them. But my question is can I sublimate after stripping and do I need to treat it with anything first?
Hi - this video is so amazing! Can you remove the sublimation on white tumblers as well? Also can you resublimate the same tumbler after you remove the mistake?
Hi! I just came across your video and what a great method. I do have a question, because I am new to sublimation.. once you strip off the sublimation you had on, from what I understood, you cannot resublimate these because the coating is now removed, correct? Or am I wrong? I don't do the resin type tumblers. I just wanted to understand the terminologies and to make sure I understand the final product, once its stripped. Going to subscribe to your channel because you have great content. Thank you :D
@@ReginasCrazyLifeso can you sublimation it again or u haven’t use it for something else ??? Lot of people are asking this question after your video??? Please respond
I used it on a white sublimation 20oz tumblers. It worked in 2 days instead of a few hours, I guess cause we are way up in the mountain area.. now, after removing all, it basically became a stainless steel tumbler. Did you put the sublimation coating on it to reuse it?? Cause it doesn't sublimation afterward?
So how can you re sublimate back onto the tumblers, after u do the paint stripping, because it takes it back to the metal with no white sublimation cover like they were when purchased?
u just saved me a ton of money 😅 thanks for sharing!
You are welcome.
After you strip them can you sublimate on them again and does it work on the white tumblers

I tried acetone it did not work for me.
I'm trying to find out if this trick or the acetone would work on the white sub or black sub tumblers, too?
Did it work on the white tumblers?

Will the same method work with ceramic?
Does it work with the white tumblers
Can it be used on white sublimation tumblers? Will it take off the sublimation coat?
Will you be able to use that same cup again for sublimation?
will this work with the white sub tumbler without taking off the white gloss
Question, please. After the stripping process, can sublimation be re-applied on the tumbler?
First, thank you. I tried it, and it came out just as you said. Do you have a video of a tumbler you refurbished with permanent vinyl?

Does it works on the mugs
Does this method work on the white coated tumblers?
You can bake the sub off and resub it if you bake it off. It's videos on youtube that will show you how.
That is an amazing money saver! Thank you so much!!!
Thank you. Great advice.
if it’s a white tumbler originally, will it turn metallic ?

So u did not have to bake it with the stripper on it? Just let it sit for a couple of hours?
Does this also strip the white off the sublimation cups? If it does, how can you make it white again to be able to sublimate on it again?
