This is a wonderful hack. I tried it on a mug in 3/ 15-minute increments. The lighter colors faded quite very nicely, and the heavily black areas turned a light grey. Thank you so very much. My problem in life has been to avoid waste. Which you can't do if you are to practice and become proficient. I now feel more comfortable. On to the next project. Keep up the good work. This is an amazing tip for a re-do, thanks for sharing!! Does the ice bath make the shrink wrap come off easily, I always have issues with that bit. I would just use a black sharpie to fix the bottom and top rims.
I'm new to sublimating tumblers. I just discovered that you and I use the exact same convection oven!!!! Please tell me the time and temperature you use for your tumblers. Also do you select convection or bake? Thank you so much
In another crafters video, it says you need to cover the tops when you rebake so the gases don't get inside and make the cups unsafe to use. I see you do not do so. What are your thoughts on this?
