Once again, thank you for your wealth of information, it is greatly appreciated.
Great video.. thank you!! Would the redo have worked with a lighter dessign? Or did you intentionally choose a darker design to ensure coverage? How do you get your colors to be so vibrant on the finished product?
Do you have a tutorial on setting up Epson printer with a Mac for sublimination please as my colours printed are always different to what’s on the screen.
While a convection oven is a popular and effective heat source for sublimation on tumblers, it is not the only option. The key is to ensure that the heat source can reach the necessary temperature range for sublimation ink activation, which is between 354-400 degrees Fahrenheit (175-204 degrees Celsius). Here are a few alternatives: Heat Press: Although typically used for flat surfaces like t-shirts, some heat presses come with attachments that allow you to sublimate on cylindrical objects like tumblers. Heat Gun: A heat gun can be used in combination with shrink wrap tubes to apply heat directly to the tumbler. This method requires careful handling to ensure even heat distribution. Sublimation Oven: Similar to a convection oven, a sublimation oven is specifically designed for sublimation projects and can be used for tumblers.
This is great advice. I have several to fix lol...Thank you. I do have one question. How do you get the vibrant colors on a travel tumbler that is powder coated? This on is also a tapered tumbler.
