When teaching it's best to flip blooms taxonomy and start from the goal of creating. Then working up (down) this flipped pyramid arriving a remembering. When children are challenged to create or to solve a problem they will evaluate what skills and knowledge they need to achieve their creative goals. Then they will begin to analyze their steps to reach their goal and what new concepts and skills they still need. Finally once they apply these skills they will begin to understand how to achieve their goals and finally they will have remembered how to reach their goals and which paths are more productive in getting there.

Actually, whether teaching lower or higher level classes, the goal is for all to get to evaluation and creation. Remember Bruner's Spiral Curriculum and that all concepts can be taught with integrity at all levels. The difference between higher and lower level classes is not the level that is reached with Bloom's taxonomy, it is the content difficulty that is used to get to all levels, and the depth at which the content is taught. RIght?

The complexity of knowledge is another taxonomy; knowledge taxonomy, which encompasses facts, concepts, principles, and the know hows. This topic I think is specifically talking about the taxonomy of human thinking levels. It refers to what process takes place in the human brain.

Does Bloom's Taxonomy have a scientific basis? (Social experiments performed on kids that conclusively demonstrates this model (classification scheme) is a good fit for human learning), or is it just a nice fictional idea educators have latched onto, like learning styles?

there is powtoon and the one he uses is called scribe- but scribe is costly and it's not so user friendly- I paid for it but it was a huge pain- see how in the end the summary was really small - it's an awkward software. powtoon is also cheaper.
