I been an educator for several years now and this is by far the best video on TH-cam covering the fundamentals of classroom management. Teachers across various disciplines and educational levels can use this for quality instruction. Thanks!

its good, but in a lot of cases bad behaviour begins with the parents, so a discussing with a parent sometimes doesn't work. I personally have addressed problems in behaviour with parents its hit and miss and you can't tell until you try it.

Excellent points on Classroom Management. Oftentimes this is one of the MOST challenging aspects of teaching for new teachers to master. I know there are some new teachers watching this and feeling grateful! Thank you for sharing!

Can you help me in this homework please?
" good teachers plan their classes minutely so that everything they do is prearranged. Once they are in the classroom, they follow their plan without deviation, always watching out for irrelevancies which the students may bring up and which could disrupt the plan "
Do you agree? Why? Why not?

I’m on board with the most things. With the exception of the teacher’s role. Sure confindence is a good thing. But teaching thru pure authority is a oversimplified concept. The are so much layers to the role of the teacher. And it really depends. I mean I know a lot of teachers that are not following any of this tips and are very respected. For me the main point is to be competent in teaching and your Subjekt. Skills get Respekt not teachers. The teachers deserves not more or less respect then anybody else. To be an authority, you have to earn it. And when you earn it it really doesn’t matter how you dress or things like this. Maybe it is a good advice from the first weeks of teaching, when you still figuring stuff out and the students are figuring you out. After this period the either respect you or they don’t based on your skills.

their work has nothing to do with behavior. if a child with really bad behavior does incredible work, they don't deserve an F for the year/semester. GRADE STUDENTS ON THEIR WORK. maybe this would coincide with participation, then I understand.
