Reaper's whole thing is that whenever he runs out of ammo he just throws his guns away and pulls out more out of nowhere. Some other characters even make jokes about this, Junkrat says "I love those magically replenishing shotguns of yours" - his reload animation literally is just him throwing his shotguns away and pulling out new ones.

soldier 76 is a great example of an antihero.
a hero who was betrayed by both his comrades, and the government, so he turned to a vigilante to get revenge on those who wronged him in cold blood. cutting ties with loved ones by faking his death so nobody can trace him.
a dark motive, with brutal execution, on a heroic person who struggles to completely ditch his past self.
also sigma's backstory is actually a REALLY tragic one. he's literally insane. driven mad by the power of a black hole, the price to pay for harnessing its power. talon broke him out of the asylum, and are manipulating him to do bad things. he's not evil. far from it. but he's not mentally sane enough to realize what he's doing.
As someone who played Overwatch when it came out but haven't really touched it since those early animations and the theme made me kinda emotional actually
Widowmaker's (purple lady) backstory is actually so damn sad and tragic. in her former life, Widowmaker was married to Gérard Lacroix, an Overwatch agent spearheading operations against the Talon terrorist organization. After several unsuccessful attempts to eliminate Gérard, Talon decided to change its focus to his wife, Amélie. Talon operatives kidnapped her and subjected her to an intense program of neural reconditioning. They broke her will, suppressed her personality, and reprogrammed her as a sleeper agent. She was eventually found by Overwatch agents, apparently none the worse for wear, and returned to her normal life.
Two weeks later she killed Gérard in his sleep.
Her mission complete, Amélie returned to Talon, and they completed the process of turning her into a living weapon.

The blackwatch cinematic characters were Moira (the evil science lady), Genji (before he was redeemed, bht after he was killed by hanzo), Cassidy (who was McCree at the time, the character has been renamed for good reasons) and Reaper (before he was killed, brought back by moira and turned into a full blown monster). The robot enemies you saw were basically just nameless robots for a PvE mode.
Blackwatch is the Overwatch version of Black Ops. Talon and Null Sector are the bad guys.
Yeah Overwatch 2 has it's own set of Cinematics, Origins and trailers. There's even a short anime series i think. I'm sure there's a playlist somewhere.
Edit: Turns out there is not a good one with all the OW2 stuff, at least as far as i could see. I also think you missed the Brigitte Origin.

The bad guy organization is called Talon black watch basically overwatch's Black Ops unit

If you go to the Reinhard's map you can see armor of his master on a throne.
For Genji, he didnt fake his death. He was a party playboy screw up, and Hanzo genuinely beat him to the brink of death. Hanzo believeshe 100% killed Genji, and mourns his death. Genji was revived by another character (mercy), and then tought peace and harmony by another (zenyatta). When Hanzo sees Genji is still alive, he refuses the fact and lashes out HARD
Funny story about the dragon cinematic, the guy with a bow was actually a sword user initially. He was way better than his brother at sword wielding but, after he thought he had killed his brother, he felt guilty and decided to never use a sword again, and instead use a bow.

This was hands down the most enjoyable reaction i have seen to OW and i´ve watched them all not to much babbling not too quiet and very sharp in seeing and connecting different informations without even knowing the game or characters i was super impressed how well you could guess the right context. I usually dont write comments on youtube but i am writing this in hopes that you will react to the rest of the overwatch cinematics there are as i would love to see that.

bastion's story is my favourite, makes me cry every time without a single word. and in general, the overwatch universe is just insanely well made. i wish they kept the cinematics more emotional, the new ones are just not it 😕

Overwatch 2 is not a new game, but more like a free expansion adding new stuff, or so we thought, coz it all got cancled, also making the game F2P, so it's the same heroes, and heroes are coming every 2 season, iirc, with 42 heroes as of now, and a new one coming in a few weeks... Genji, the cyborg ninja fighting his brother in the Dragons short, was killed by Hanzo, or so Hanzo thought, but Genji was saved by Dr. Angela Ziegler, aka Mercy, a healer in the game, and then mentored by an omnic (sentient robots are called omnics) monk called Zenyatta, another healer in the game, and is now a cyborg, and after Hanzo thinks he ended his brothers life, by besting him with a sword, he said he would never take up a sword ever again, and started training with a bow... after the Reinhardt short, SOOO many people started playing him a lot more defensive, protecting their team, not rushing in for damage and kills, and i would know, coz i was one of them... in the Moria origin story, yes, she made Reaper into what he is now, but before that, Reaper was called Soldier 24, as he ALSO got the super soldier serum, same as Soldier 76, but then Moira got her hands on him, and tadaa, Reaper was born... Blackwatch, Moira before they tried to end her, Gabriel Reyes (Reaper) when he was Soldier 24, Genji not long after saved, and the cowboy Jesse McCree, now known as Cole Cassidy, is like the secret government group, operating under the Overwatch branch, so Overwatch is operating in the light and Blackwatch in the dark... lastly, u missed a lot of stuff, but i guess that's for another time...
fun fact!! widowmaker had a bug when the game first launched that her ass would get bigger when she was scoped into her rifle. you are def right about what brought people into the game :p Sombra and Junkrat are my faves

For the blackwatch animation Ill explain a few things, Theres overwatch, the good guys, blackwatch which was basically a covert ops division that did a lot of dirty work in the overwatch org, it had cassidy, genji, moira, and reaper and this was before overwatch shut down, reaper was still human and was apart of overwatch, the guy they assassinate in that animation is a high ranking talon official, the main baddies of the universe, talon is the organization that widow, reaper, doomfist, moira, and sombra will eventually join into
Also for anyone who doesn't know, McCree and Cassidy are the same person. McCree as a character was named after a Blizzard employee who did some reprehensible stuff, and when they fired him they also renamed Jesse McCree to Cole Cassidy. In universe, Cole Cassidy is his real name and he was just using Jesse McCree as his alias, which he's now dropped.

So a fun fact, if no one told you, Widowmaker (Blue assassin girl) is Amelie Lacroix, wife of Overwatch Agent Gerard Lacroix. iirc, Talon brainwashed her and tricked her into killing Gerard in his sleep
Also wanted to clear a couple things up:
Overwatch are the good guys. Blackwatch was their covert ops division that did the wet work, Reaper (A.K.A Gabriel Reyes) was the leader of it, the Venice Incident you saw in the animation was them being publicly revealed for what Reyes did. The bad guys are Talon (Led by Doomfist, with Reaper, Sombra, etc.), and Null Sector (Robot extremists). Talon was also the organization that Baptiste was in, and deserted, during his origin story.
Moira was the woman in the Venice cutscene, and you are correct, in her origin story, that was her making Reaper
Wrecking Ball isn't necessarily a bad guy, or against Winston; though he does at least slightly resent Winston because he stole WB's plans for an escape shuttle, then left without him

So, outside of Brigitte's origin video and some of the holiday event trailers (like the Halloween Junkenstein stuff), you watched all of Overwatch 1's stuff. Everything else involving Overwatch that you'll be watching from this point forward will be Overwatch 2 related (whether it's shorts, more character origins, crossover work, etc.).
Outside of these videos, there are also web-comics found on the game's website (which you can read for free) which expand the story for characters you do and don't see in these trailers.
It should also be noted that, when in the game, you can play as anyone regardless of what side of the war it's on. They'll have character interactions between each other before matches begin but, besides that, any PVP modes are considered not canon to the story.
Speaking of what IS canon, though:
Overwatch: The Main Hero group. Formed during the Omnic Crisis (when robot characters led by corrupted AI were tired of discrimination and violence against them and started demanding equal treatment by force), lasted until it was destroyed by damaged history and eventual self-destruction.
Blackwatch: NOT the villains but a good chunk of them eventually would become villains. In reality, they were Overwatch's black-ops group that did off-the-book missions until they were revealed in that gameplay you saw.
Talon: The Main Villain group. Trying to organize the world their own way by playing everyone against each other until they have control.
Null Sektor: The Main Omnic Villains. They did the uprising you saw (Tracer's first mission) and, in Overwatch 2, are the cause of the second Omnic Crisis which involves all story-mode stuff from that point forward.
???: An illuminati-type group that Sombra discovered. The one's who "really rule the world" as she put. They seem to be playing everyone...but we honestly know nothing else about them outside of Sombra's origin video (that's literally the last we heard anything about them about 7ish years ago irl).
There are many many more animations and stories that you need to watch. Also the anime you were thinking of is cowboy bebop which did a collaboration with overwatch so thats very funny

More Overwatch content and reactions, please. Do Overwatch 2 and finish the origin stories. I also suggest hero announcement videos, you will see their abilities, it's cool.
One thing that makes me soooo angry about the cinematics is how Netflix was planning to make an Animated TV series for it but, Blizzard (The company that owns Overwatch) had a manager for some of their media who transfered to netflix so they tried suing Netflix for "stealing" their employee. So now we get no series because Blizzard is a company of petty idiots. :')

it's infuriating how disconnecting your pauses are to the emotional link they're supposed to make you feel, but you're too stuck up thinking about what's gonna happen to notice
Out of all the videos shown, my top 3 favorite ones are is third place, the one with Soldier 76 and the little girl. Honor and Glory for second, and Sigma for first place. I love the idea of Sigma, the scientist who thought he could master one of the foundations of the universe, and instead it broke the foundations of his mind.
So, the character "Jesse McCree" was directly named after a real Blizzard employee. However, he was caught up in multiple SA allegations (the problem with naming characters after real people) so Blizzard fired him and cut all ties, which included renaming the character to "Cole Cassidy"
Many people aren't happy with the name change for a multitude of reasons, but I honestly am fine with it. Also, a running joke among those who accept the change. Anytime someone uses the old name, they respond by asking "Who?"
not directly after, considering the consider real life Jesse McCree had to sign an agreement stating that the character had nothing to do with him

Sad to get to the end and see its missing the Overwatch 2 stuff. Yes its underwhelming in comparison and theres some controversy but honestly the Junker Queen, Kiriko, Mauga and Zero Hour animations are INCREDIBLE. IMO they might be better than the first ones... hot take I know.
Side note: Apex Legends has some good cinematics like this to check out, you would shocked at how good they did with those.

I would also like to recommend reacting to every single Bro's attacks from Mario & Luigi Brothership, just saying, I highly recommend it since it really does feel like that one Mario Bros Z video somewhere on the internet and also a bit of DBZ and such, especially Clock out feels like some sort of anime type move anyways.

There's quite a few cinematics missing. Not only small origin stories, but actual cinematics. Junker Queen, Sojourn, Kiriko and Zero Hour are the big ones. The origin story of Brigitte is also missing. Not the best playlist you chose sadly.

there was a question about favourite characters and I'm gonna be honest, I love Bastion (The Last Bastion robot) as a character and Sigma is interesting.
top three most played are Mercy (angel lady), Lucio (the guy in the first one with the skates and the dreads), and Junkrat (explosive Aussie), though, so those are fave play styles. what is in common with those play styles? great question. not a clue, 'cause Mercy is about positioning, Lucio is about skating around the map at 90mph while trying not to touch the floor, and Junkrat is just the easiest way to bully a team into where your team wants them to go.
weirdly, preferred OW 1 Junkrat's characterisation (weirdly because he was anti-omnic in OW 1 due to his full origin story). his in-game interactions are too comic relief now and I've been joking since OW 2 concept art for Junkrat was shown that we have his cousin, Trashmouse, in the game. like idk who we have now but that is not my anti-omnic, accidentally queer coded (I assume it was an accident, anyway, given he now canonically doesn't understand why people think he's gay), burning rodent of a man. we couldn't even have a literally flaming homosexual 'cause they made him presumably Straight and not on fire.
