You can watch the Kiriko short and see that the people in the Overwatch team had all the correct heart and ideas to make things great; but the higher ups had to F it all up for what they thought would make more money.
Jesse McCree was a name inspired by one of the staff at Blizzard. Said staff member was later let go on account of his association and knowledge about a certain place frequented by Blizzard staff that was involved in several harassment suits. Basically the man was outed as being at the very least an enabler of sexual harassment and abuse within the company, and when that information went public Blizzard went into damage control to remove characters and things associated with the bad actors that were fired for their behavior. In the case of McCree though, when you have a game built around established heroes with unique functions in terms of gameplay mechanics that have a dedicated following of players who enjoy using them, it is a little harder to just remove them from the game outright. So rather than trying to rebuild and replace McCree, they simply changed his name
Just because he had knowledge of a hotel room does not mean that he was an enabler. The man was let go simply because it was a PR nightmare for blizzard and they had to look like they were doing something
Finally the best cinematics in the wild west Respects to Magic, Hearthstone, WoW, LoL and a whole lot of other games out there, but man Dragons and Honor and Glory are really another level to me The most recent ones are okay, but i prefer the "old school" 3d animation. It’s a shame the video you’re reacting to didn’t include the origin story shorts for Overwatch 1 (yet it included two origin story shorts from Overwatch 2 even though there are like 7 of them that were made???) Very maddening compilation lol.
Imo Mei has one of the darkest backstories of the entire Overwatch cast especially because unlike a lot of the other members of the cast with dark story lines none of her choices could have possibly stopped it from happening. Widow is another example of a character whose actions couldn’t have stopped her backstory from happening like widow got tortured and turned into Widowmaker because she got married to the wrong guy.
Most of these make reference to the firs war but what they are all leading up to the recall for the second war is what overwatch 2’s story was supposed to be about.
The OG trailer for Overwatch was just so iconic. I wish we had more 'superhero movies' that were of that quality and enthusiasm for the content. "You know... The world could always use more heroes." And if one of the most sad/ironic line exchanges isn't "I had this" and "Obviously". OW has the most hero-villain non-cannon ships for me but the first that stuck in my brain and endured was Widowmaker + Tracer.

idk why chat says kiriko 'broke' ow canon, the fox spirit is no different from hanzo and genjis dragon spirits ... essentially the personification(?) of something inspired by Japanese culture
I think those people are mostly talking about how kiriko’s lore is that she grew up and trained alongside hanzo and genji as kids meanwhile current Kiriko is 19 and hanzo and genji are like 38 and 40 respectively so how could kiriko have grown up and trained alongside them. It’s been a big point of contention in the lore that Blizzard kinda just swept under the rug a while ago.

if you havent played the game at all since the "sequel" came out how can you be so sure that its so bad? you seem like someone who really enjoyed the game and most of your hate towards the game now seems to be pretty much without any foundation. I assume most of it is due to blizzard as a company being a piece of shit for the last few years and the negative press around the game. which dont get me wrong the it absolutely deserves a lot of that criticism, but its just kinda sad to see how many casuals blindly hate on this game because they heard somewhere that its really bad. did it need to get a sequel? absolutely not. is it pathetic and sad that they had to completely cancel the pve? 100%. From Shrek to Wreck.
From Toy Story to boy how boring
I have no particular opinions on it but I thought this looked fun so wanted to contribute with Monsters Inc to This game stinks.
From Inside Out to Everyone's Out.
From Planes to plain
Unfortunately the profanity filter doesn't seem to like my suggestion for "Cars", but I'm sure you can figure out what rhymes with that. That's the weird vehicle ones covered, keep it up you beautiful people!
Its kinda sad they put Illari and Maugas 2d ones in, but not Ramattras. Rams is probably the best of the most recent ones imo
There's no Doomfist reaction?
I'm the only one who likes overwatch 2 more, I'm a tank main too😭
As a tank main too, I don’t hold any strong opinions towards it. I started playing back in 2016 too but I did enjoy the 5v5 switch because it made all of the tanks stronger and it was fun. But I have to say playing dva (my main) is so much harder now without another tank on the team. It just allows people to go zarya/sym and burn holes through me without consequence 😔
Ok When she's gonna react the Mtg trailers ???
i hate that i love it, got permanetly banned because people falsely reporting because they get mad
