So many parts it's amazing how we just take for granted getting in our cars/trucks every morning and fire it up with no issues for 7-10 years. So many more parts than a EV.
He should be a Marriage Counsellor...a friend of mine (RIP) many years was having a bit of a discussion with his then wife...he just brought home a fully machined 340 CI Block...for his NHRA Stock Eliminator class Duster....he had it wrapped in a blanket and had it in the master bedroom...His wife made him an offer...either the block goes or she does...The car ran amazing setting an NHRA record for the time of 12 flat in a Stock Eliminator back in 1975 ... The Gypsy Saint...many fond memories.... wishing all you car nuts the very best of the day...!

I know how long it takes to complete just a couple of bolts using the still photography animation process. So my hats off to this film team who made this possible. I love it and I'm pretty sure 98% of your viewers love it too.

I love HEMI's so much, I painted my BMW block HEMI orange when I built it from the ground up.

Those heads are MONEY! 5 angle valve job. Huge valves. Enormous ports. No wonder it makes so much power!
Also, they are twin plug heads like a 5.7L. Didn't realize these were twin plug as well. Wonder if the Hellcat has twin plug heads. These engines are pretty rare in this trim in Australia. We have lots of Gen 3 N/ A Hemi's thou

You know what suprises me about this Engine. It uses absolute old technology, besides the Variable Cam Timing, Twin-Sparkplugs and a giant Blower. But still manages to get out 840 HP. It's fascinating to see this. I work on German Engines and you see all the technology that goes in to the engines for Power gain, low fuel consumption, and good emissions. Yet here comes an American Company, that goes by the American Idiology of Simple, Reliable and Powerfull and puts out such a behemoth of an Engine.
Because America knows how to make cars better than anybody else (ignoring Tesla)
Giant blowers are old technology. Ever heard of a 14-71 Bowers
They make a 1000hp version too. Create motor for the street with a warranty. Can't go wrong

I've liked the challenger ever since it was revamped in 2008 but the moment i saw the demons engine outside of the car like that for the first time, i changed into a fan for life, that car and everything about seems to represent power

They obviously aren't trying all that hard to make drag cars. The zl1 and new mustangs are track car. No real muscle cars are made anymore
@@willmcg7513 "Real" muscle car's focus have always been for the drag strip. Do a little research. Back in the day, the ¼ mile was top priority when determining "real" muscle which is the same today. Lightweight, aerodynamic cars stiff arm others on the track (tuners, exotics, lightweight muscle, etc) but REAL muscle will always compete on the strip. Noone will out-do Dodge when it comes to that.
