I remember many a sleepless nights truing fly-wheels---- Like you it was easier to work at night less foot traffic, lol My first Harley a 71 Iron head, Now over 40 years later and 23 Harleys I finally got my 2nd twin cam. Can't say much cause my knowledge is old school and all my equipment is long since gone. Thanks again for all the great memories. Wishing you the best New Year and same to the CREW......

i restaurate a 1973 XLH engine the stamp numbers say it a 1972 case
so i guess i have the same engine
    is this hole bad?
thank you so much for your videos it is a very good help !!

That hole is stupid.....one day I look and I got 3 quarts of oil on the primary side! I did not weld, I tapped a 10/32 or 8/32 and red loctite a brass screw....done. But I would have welded it off cases were apart.....always listen to the Ironhead Wizard....TATRO or you will turn into a toad...🐸

one tin can, lots of old wheel weights, some heat and a handle is all you need. make it. where did you think my hammer came from.

When you hit the crank with the hammer, is that to straighten it, or is it just because you're mad at it for being crooked?

How about JB Weld and a coin to cover that vent hole thing?
