Great video man! I gotta question though. When your re-staking the release ramp how tight should it be fitting after. Im concerned it isnt seated well enough. but dont wanna continue just peening at them slots. Dont wanna get it all back together for a test out and grab the clutch and have it all come apart inside. Hit me back id appreciate it.
I would recommend re-staking it and add couple and you should be fine as long as it's good and snug. if it's not sloppy after staking it in you should be fine. best wishes with your project man!
MrMach12004 I suppose it works both ways man...that Mach 1 you own could convert a hard-core Chevy guy (of which I am one...lol)! fact is, you don't see many of either parked in front of a "shrinks" office. My kinda' therapy!
Hi, I tried to adjust the clutch , because bike would grind going into first gear from a stop. Squeezed the clutch lever and let it go and it wouldn't return. What could be the problem?
Would have been a better video if the camera was not blurry and focused in properly. I would've put an extra 5/16 nut on the cable for a lock nut for the cable just to help hold the adjustment from vibration or loosening going down the road. While it was off the release ramp assembly.
Good evening sir, I took the primary off. Reset the clutch ramp , barring were hang up. Working great now. Thank you for the video and knowledge.

James Wilbur can’t say for sure, I would inspect everything really well including the clutch pack.
Thank you sir
James you’re welcome, wish I could be of more help...thx for watching!
👍
How much oil did you put into the primary and is it shared with transmission?
watching and looks like your doing good - T=up - going to 2
What problem were you having that caused you to replace the ramp? Was the clutch not releasing? Did this fix the problem?
jsandidge1 yeah, the clutch wouldn’t release. Thx for watching
