I saw someone asked about sleeving the distributor hole. I was gonna ask that, but also is there a downside to sleeving the breather bore hole when they get chewed up beyond a oversized breather? Thanks, Alex
sleeving is just one option. oversize parts, wealding or just leaving it alone are others. sleeves and bushings can move so you have to decide what is best for the application. tatro
I understand the collecting of "broken" parts, as I've done the same occasionally, but can you tell me the theory behind keeping the chunk of molten aluminum in that one case? 😂 Inquiring minds want to know.
top tip on using drill bits to measure. I always have problems measuring gaps in tight spots
done deal, they work great.

why not, its part of the cases history. until it is needed it stays with it.

@@TatroMachine So was fire, but I don't see flames anywhere. You know there's a fine line between collector and hoarder
Instead of welding, maybe sleave the hole and machine the sleeve?
who made the aftermarket case that is off?
made in Germany
i showed the name . there is only one to guess.

There is actually two German manufacturers. Motor technic and cannonball. Both have their issues unfortunately 🤷🏼♂️
