Black Widow Neighborhater Exhaust on 01 Silverado (8" Tip!!)

- Well it was finally time to let the Cherry Bomb go and to say hello to Black Widows 6" Neighborhater muffler. Not only does the Silverado have a loud muffler, it also has a bad ass 8" exhaust tip. The exhaust tip made a world of difference to the sound of the truck. I am really happy with the sound of the truck and trust me this thing is LOUD. Sounds good, I have the Angry Housewife and I love it, Im not feeling the tip...a bit too much for me.
Im curious what those mufflers would sound like with cat deletes and a h pipe crossover with 3.5 “ tips
Those big tips should be outlawed on gas trucks.
Tell that to exhaust shops i went in for tru-duel on 2000 chevy silverado and the shop tried to get me to put 6" tips or 10" tips i told him I wanted 2 and a half inch pipes with 2" tips then he puts 3" tips so had to change them myself

Nice I think six inch tips would have been better on the silverado but hey I mean I have not seen a gas truck with an eight inch tip.
Love it but I would go with a smaller bullet exhaust tip. That tip is supposed to be on a diesel

It sounds good. Just need to install some exhaust headers now.
Are these louder than the borla ataks?
I do not know if they are louder than the Borla exhaust I have have never tested a Borla muffler
@@QuadBossElite I'm running longtubes 3in piping and a Borla attak muffler on my 5.3 and honestly its quit you can barely hear it cruising sounds loud and good when I floor it and there is drone it's not bad tho

It sounds good. Neighbor haters are designed to be loud...... I wanna run 2 widow maker 10's..... I run 2 flowmaster 40's with no cats and 5 inch slash cut tips and my yukon has a nasty bark.
All these guys saying that this tip looks good on a diesel but not a gas truck like the engine alters the physical size of the truck itself 😂😂😂😂. Not a fan on the big tip, but I’m considering a 6” for my gas 2500HD to chase that deeper tone and not sound like a squatted clap-mobile since I am in the Carolinas 😂

Wanna be diesel with that exhaust tip. I think big exhaust tips like that are oversized on a diesel, they look even more out of place on a gas truck.

@@wilmingtonperformancediese230listen you New Millennial - on my everyday driven 2001 5.0 V8 Mercury Mountaineer Priemer and I already had on a pair of Magnaflow Magnapacks, SLP Loudmouth 2s, a Dynomax Ultra Flo X muffler, a pair of Flowmaster Flow FXs, and currently a pair of Jones JFP Flowpacks 250 (same exact muffler as Cherry Bomb M80s 250) on just this vehicle alone.
My Mustang GT has Borla S-Types, My Lincoln Mark 8 has a pair of them Aero Turbine AT2525s, My SRT-8 Chrysler 300 has Corsa Extremes, and my Trailblazer SS has Carven Rs. I'm considering putting those Aero Turbine AT2525s on the rest of my vehicles (except the SRT-8 Chrysler) because that patented Airfoil chambered technology gives the best airflow along with that loud chambered sound you seem to like and has even less drone than those short Black Widow Neighborhaters.
Probably a deeper tone, but not louder.
@@wilmingtonperformancediese230maybe because my Trailblazer SS responded more intensely with that Airfoil pattern technology inside of that AT2525. I even had Sweet Thunders and JFP Flowpacks 250 on it and they were less volume.
