I plan on using the speed engineering shortys on my 2wd k5 build. Glad to see they have plenty of clearance. I usually would run Borla’s but those venoms have a great sound to them. How’s the drone inside the cabin?
You'll have plenty of room with SE shorties or longtubes. Great bang for the buck! And no drone. Seriously. The mufflers are loud but they do not drone.

Had a buddy make a transmission crossmember out of 3/4 angle iron to run 5 feet of 3" straight pipe off the headers into Cherry Bomb Salutes and 2 foot
pipe off of them, where I plan to put some turn downs right above the real axle

I just ordered a set of widowmaker10s for my 85 c10!... did it make a difference dumping the pipes with an angle vs straight down?
I'm not really sure that it did but this thing is pretty loud, generally.
Robbie, you should sell those UBT frame crossmembers. I'd consider replacing the stock one.

Yea I'm getting those exact mufflers, x pipe, and I'm buying their builders kit for my C10.
Why no h or x pipe? The ls really responds well with the extra scavenging. Also knocks down drown.
matt vorhees you’ll see in the video, we tried to make the x pipe work but the driveshaft is occupying the same space. And since I’m bagged, the articulation needed in the driveshaft is more important than the x pipe. And these black widows are loud but they don’t drone thankfully.

To be honest, bc I have very sensitive ears and I drive these trucks all over the country so I wanted quiet but old school sound. Unfortunately, I did not like the 250s and now run Borla Pro XS.

Definitely bc no drone with these. The wheels are @detroitsteelwheelco Delrays 22x9 all around with 4.75” bs up front (with 1” narrower control arms) and 4” bs in rear. Tires are @continentaltire DSW06 - 265/35/22 up front and 285/35/22 in rear.
This might be a dumb question, but how do you guys tow a air bagged truck, i.e bags inflated or deflated?
do you drive a bagged vehicle with the bags deflated? Same concept

I just put a venom 300 on my 07 Silverado 3" in and out straight through. It sounds great and cleaner than my flowmaster super 50.
Be careful running it like that my gs400 is ran like that but has messed the bushing up in the rear. But this set up sounds wicked

I have the race venom on my 6.0 dumped at the axle, Holy shit they are way too loud. Switching to the street venom and full length

@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS What's crazy at idle or just cruising is not as loud as my old flowmaster but when I get on the gas it wakes up. I think the black widow just has a cleaner and crisper sound. Thanks for posting the videos.
Was that a legit stock 5.3? Or did it have a cam installed?
Legit bone stock Gen 4 5.3 with 140k miles. Headers and air intake only. There’s a video on the truck we pulled it from on the channel. 2011 Silverado.

I installed one venom 250 on wife’s Tran am it’s to loud
Why the f would you lower a K5 blazer
The project, great the mufler work great also, but the sound on idle sucks
To each their own. I think it has a real classic idle. I’ve got more footage where the idle has been tuned etc that shows the sounds better. Video coming soon.

So I'm stuck between the 2 mini monsters. I put a pair or angry housewife's on my v6 which wasn't anything too special but it's pretty loud. I have an 81 GMC k2500 with the 350 in it and I want to know which has overall best sound and volume...the angry housewife's or the neighbor haters. Let me know soon please cuz the cam I got in it ALLREADY sounds better then sex on the beach
This is my first set of Black Widows, but Rocky has neighbor haters and I love them .
