What disappoints me is that so many people are either making jokes about the cannibalism, or kink-shaming the BDSM, rather than acknowledging the abuse against these women, if the accusations are true. I thought the same about the tone of Dr Grande’s voice. It is monotone, I had a lecturer who spoke like him. I would fall asleep, I was not tired. I even sat in the front row but still fell asleep: that did not work. So, I went on eat sweets, it worked partially but I just came to my senses and told myself that I am paying money for my course.

also, his wife is divorcing him, as well as his time with their children has been jeopardized..not helped by the video he HIMSELF posted to social media of his very young son sucking on his [Armie's] toes.
also, he's been facing potential civil lawsuits from the women he has harmed.
so, maybe study up next time [and *NOT* per the gossip sites & rag magazines or cheap commentary TH-cam channels] before posting your ignorance about what has actually been going on with his situation.

i was reading an article the other day about how tall, handsome men are more likely to be seen as highly desirable partners regardless of concerning behavior; essentially the hotter you are the more likely your partners are to let you get away with weird stuff or ignore red flags.
He is 6’5” and *objectively* very handsome, I’m sure that people have dismissed his oddities solely based on that. But if you watch interviews he’s stilted and insincere. I’ve always thought he was “off” in some way I couldn’t put my finger on.
The "beautiful" people absolutely get away with more, interesting observation. This case was a shocker for me. Wonder if being a spoiled rich brat had much to do with it, just saying. Looking forward to learning more about this one.
And I think inversely and often times unfairly, the less conventionally attractive a man is, or perhaps with certain diagnosable but harmless personality eccentricities, can be totally disproportionately targeted and accused for something they clearly did not do. I’ve seen a case of an odd fellow, portly, not tall, not handsome, maybe on the low end iq wise but certainly still functioning, super nice genuine guy, get his life essentially destroyed being wrongly accused and then the ensuing media frenzy and mob mentality. Proven beyond innocent, and to this day locally you’ll still hear people gossip about him. A total disgrace. Sorry that was a lot to say- I totally agree with you.

Exactly this. Kinks are totally fine. I don't kinkshame. But consent is a cornerstone of the kink community. Even "non consentual" Things ARE consentual. It's called consentual non consent in the community and the people who engage in it often (but probably not always) are victims of assault. And it's used as a way to cope and regain control of the situation. The fact that the women he was talking to were very clearly NOT consenting to engaging in his kink and he should have respected that. You do not force your kinks onto your partner. Love the new background! Thank you for posting this. I have struggled with what I would have termed intrusive thoughts in the past involving cannibalistic fantasy. But the more I researched it, the more it was apparent that intrusive thoughts involve things that are ego-dystonic -- they make you uncomfortable, you don't identify with them, etc.
When I think about cannibalistic things, it just makes me really happy. It's not always sexual, but it can definitely go down that road. I look at people and I feel a little anxious, because I have those thoughts in the back of my head, like they're food or something. It makes it hard to relate sometimes and it's given me a serious case of imposter syndrome. BUT! It's actually really comforting to know that there's a name for this and that most people don't act on it. If there was one thing that *did* end up becoming an intrusive thought, it's that I thought I was going to become a serial killer, like Jeffrey Dahmer.
Anyway, maybe a bit TMI, but just wanted to add something to the conversation in case anyone was wondering what it was like to have this paraphilia.

Thank you Doctor, for your brief yet very informative commentary on the actor currently embroiled (no pun intended), in the still unfolding scandal and also for the corresponding information including description detailing the very taboo topic or subject of discussion.
Wishing that my recent observations regarding the seemingly increasing numbers of portrayals, dramatizations, et cetera of this very disturbing and disgusting practice in the media were just my imagination instead of some sort of super scary uptick or rise in the popularity and/or interest in such detestably dark and deadly deeds, has become increasingly difficult to dismiss. For l do not ever remember any time before now in my 44 years of existence where the sickness of cannibalism has been such a popular point of discussion. And the seeming fascination with the foul and vile zombie seems to be more of the same.
I do fear that humanity will some day soon face the unthinkable but as of yet we seem to be unknowingly being groomed for whatever horrors may lie ahead.

Lately, I've been feeling like the walls of my house are pressing in on me, about to tumble down on me, and squish me like a bug. Sounds seem amplified, too. I don't know what to make of it...I meditate, & listen to calming music.
I'm fortunate, in that I can work from home. I'm more worried about contracting COVID and bringing it home to my spouse, than the effects of social isolation.
I'm a recluse. Life is a lot more peaceful and less stressful, but you have to WANT IT. Fifteen years ago, deep down I didn't want it but I tried to be a recluse anyway. I damn near lost my mind from the isolation and loneliness; laughing randomly at nothing, as well as talking to myself. But now, as I'm older, I'm able to handle it perfectly and the solitude has improved my life and mental health. The lifestyle is a good one, but it has its risks for the unprepared.
