I got the 04 model.bin in mothballs for two yrs!after watching that vid,it's coming out this yr for its debut track day!I,v had em all!blades,r1s ets!!nothing more satisfying than my boxer cup!real skill level needed!great vid!class recovery🙎
love that bike, and a great ride man! you always have to be carefull of that bike, 98BHP may seem not that much but the torque can surprise a lot of people :-)
I was running Continental road attack, but I don't think they are sticky enough for track use and thats what promted the near high side. My R1100s was a uk boxercup, they only made 25 bikes Paul
I know it's been almost a decade but see you sure they only made 25? There has to be a breakdown to make it that rare as I see them for sale in my area often even this many years later. I own a standard with the cup suspension. I see the boxer cups for sale pretty frequently though so your statement just got me curious is all. I'm not saying it is or isn't it just piqued my interest.
@@wheeldon6 very nice, I hadn't ever seen one of those. Definitely not the boxer cups I've seen for sale, the livery on that is much nicer. Do you still have it? They're great bikes and I really enjoy mine, I can't wait for my first track day with it.
@@ourtime-downhere6931 There are way more than 25 Boxer Cup Replocas on the market.. This guy is talking about one specific UK release. The white and blue Randy Mamola edition is the most common you'll find. The regular R1100S' are quite nice to have as well.
@@whittpreslarii2567 yeah, they sent me the link explaining that it was the UK model. I really like the colors on it, wish I could get one here in the states. I absolutely love my r1100s, 62k miles and still runs and rides amazing. It surprised me after I bought it with what they are capable of, it really is a fantastic machine.
great job man! Thumbs up for your ride! what kind of tyres did you have? @ 8:56 I almost crashed myself off the chair! :D Love the R1100-S: one of the best bikes ever! (and for sure the best I've ever had ;) )

Where did you mount the GoPro, because the windnoise is totally of. GREAT.
it was on the yoke, on the screen and mounted on the rear pillon peg mounting holes
Or is it a specific microphone setting in the GoPro?
It was wet in the morning and a lot of the other bikes were on full wets because they were racing the next day, I just want to enjoy the day.
