Just fyi, that is a remix of a key I designed! That extra screw adjusts spring tension!
I actually just came up with a version 2 that has better clamping force onto metallic bases and that will be available in a short time once I get the parts in!

Yes. I believe I give JK full notice on my website. I’m going to let the builds run out and only sell the hardware. I have a remix that I designed that uses ball bearings and magnets, too. It takes forever to build them by hand.
I also gave up on the base magnets. Nothing I tried kept them in place. :(
@@w1rcp the solution I came up with came from Adam K6ARK. He pointed me to a supplier that sells custom silicone rubber feet and when I used that it no longer slides on metal.
If you have a putikeeg key I think they use the same material.
@@JonathanKayneI may have to email you and ask or beg for that info. It would be nice to put those feet in the hardware kits I sell.
