I've struggled with logging in the short time I've been on HF. Didn't submit a POTA log because I couldn't figure out database stuff to log on Linux and that paper log manual entry thing wasn't around. Tried a couple of phone based programs to generate the log, too inconvenient for anything other than in the moment logging. I got this app last week and had my log finally submitted within 15 min. Superb design for what I need.

I am not an IT person, so I realize I am unqualified. I am trying to use the logger in the context of a remote facility for telescopes for astrophotography. If my mini PC fails or there's a power loss, I need to be able to reset my stuff. The instruction manual is obviously for IT people who know the lingo (I didn't know what DHCP was, it has to be disabled to configure, I disabled it without even realizing I had!). Do you know of anyplace to get instructions "for dummies" that don't assume networking expertise?

Looks like your FX-901 is missing the securing mechanism for the tip, it's suppost to have a yellow locking nut, mine does atleast. You can also simply stand it up straight, it's flat on the underside.

I never knew the Arch grounds had trees and stuff. Never wandered around beyond the entrance. I think I was heading out to POTA right as you were heading in, though I was likely way too close (~300 miles) to make a contact. Absolutely awesome weather that day indeed.

Just fyi, that is a remix of a key I designed! That extra screw adjusts spring tension! I actually just came up with a version 2 that has better clamping force onto metallic bases and that will be available in a short time once I get the parts in! De KM4CFT

Hi, i have an old brother printer dcp700w with x86 linux drivers, could I just hook it up to raspberry pi zero. Expose the connector to my x86 server and install the printer driver from there?
