Just to clarify for you: the triggers are hall effect, the sticks themselves are NOT hall effect. Big big won is saying they are using a process to calculate the center so they shouldn't drift. So should still not drift, but it's not hall effect.
@@katanamaru1The stick modules BBW is currently using on these are of higher quality than current Hall Effect sticks. Feel smoother and are more accurate.
Other reviews are saying the dpad is really bad for retro and 2d platformer games. Did you play any as a test? Some people are saying the "B" button is sticking down or not feeling good. How did it feel to you?
To be honest, I'm still using the controller to play PC games. Currently I play Dead Cells, lies of p, and Darktide using this controller and never had any issue with the d-pad or buttons.
Nope. The joysticks have the new ALPS system which focuses on precision. The controller has an adaptive calibration, so you won't have to worry with drifts. The triggers have Hall effects though!
Yes, it can the wireless USB dongle is usually sold separately but it was included with this controller but basically this dongle is an adapter that can be used to connect to Xbox and PS5 and the reason it doesn't say it's not supported on the website or in the video is mostly because of Licensing issues, so to sum it up this controller supports Xbox, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC without any latency issues, just as long as you connect the wireless USB stick into your console with a regular controller also plugged into the dongle then you just press the pair button on the rainbow 2 pro and it should connect instantly and use the rainbow 2 pro wirelessly. Hope this helps!
@@GeneralXDN That sounds like it makes sense, but I'm going to need to see someone do this on video before I up and buy it. Edit: I found a video. It does indeed work on Xbox and PS5. Thanks man.
Yay! Nice! Hall effect means no stick drift. Means it'll last as long as you take care of it. Keep it clean gunk free.

Looks nice!
I really like the look of the D-pad, I just can't use the Pro Con pad, find it too stiff for platformers
Same here! If only the D-pad is interchangeable. The 8-way cap D-pad is way better than the original D-pad imo
Cool review. I'm actually looking for a nice controller for my laptop and i might consider this one.
Good choice! This is now my go-to controller since I play on PC and tablet as well.

Can the macro function actually detect joystick movement? Or just clicking of buttons and sticks ?
Macro function can only record button presses. Though it can record the intervals and how long you hold a button!
@@switchmaniatoo thanks, any chance you can do a review for the rainbow 2 SE?
Hmm 🤔 let me see what I can do, maybe if they send me a review device I'll definitely will!
Looks really good and multiplatform so it can be really useful
Yep! If you play on different platforms, this will be a good controller!
@@switchmaniatoo yes, I think on a couple of platforms or even 3 so will be really useful, thanks for showing us

Does it work with PS5 games?
Unfortunately no, only on Windows and Switch
Literally an Xbox Controller. Does it happen to work on Xbox?
Unfortunately, no. Can only be used on PC, Switch, Android and Apple devices.
