This was the most detailed and comprehensive video I've seen on a Yamaha Waverunner oil change. Well Done! 👍
Appreciate it Billy!🤘🏼😎
Great video! Appreciate it
Thank you very much this video is exactly what I need
Thanks for watching 🤘🏼😎
Best video out of all of them.
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching! 😎🤘🏼
Thanks mate!
Dude you And your Dad are the men! Leander so many cool tricks. Has been over a year since my TR1 service change, but don't remember the filler tube trick. Also did not do the awl punch or wait and just did the rag cleanup unfortunately! Have never seen anyone use a HVAC vacuum pump system for an oil change. Worked well though. Loved that sight glass! Y'all have a shop set up for sure!
Really appreciate it man! Glad you could catch some of the tricks😎🤘🏼
Thank you for this detailed video. I think I tried extracting oil out of the similar size hose next to the one you mentioned and I don't think the engine was level.
No problem! Thanks for watching and glad we could figure it! 🤘🏼😎
Hey buddy , great video ! Where do you fill up the oil to on the dip stick do you fill it up all the way to full mark or are you in the middle between low and full. Thank you !
Appreciate it. We like to keep it on the full mark. We check the oil level every once in a while after a ride but have never had to top it off. It’s a Yamaha !😎🤘🏼 thanks for watching!
Great video, thank you for taking the time to put that together. I’d like to have a copy of that manual, good stuff. I’m not finding one like yours, where did you find it? Thx again!
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching! We order all our service manuals from www.service-shop-repair-manual.com
However it appears their site is down. Hope not out of business cuz they were the cheapest place. Here is the part number for the manual though a couple places have it just more expensive. LIT-18616-04-01
Maybe try the site in a couple days 🤞🏼
Thanks! My son ended up finding one on the Yamaha site, not an easy manual to find. Crazy story… I bought two new skis and after the first oil change for both, one blew up. Six weeks of riding and now twelve weeks at the dealer praying it will be covered. I’m told the rubber seal fell out of the oil filter when I put the small hole in it causing a loss in oil pressure leading to engine failure. That said I’m told it may not be covered by warranty… good times! Thanks again, we’re enjoying your channel!
Sorry to hear about your engine issue! Hope it get resolved soon and if they dont cover would definitely try and contact corporate or something. Wishing you the best on a resolution and happy thanksgiving! As always, thanks for watching!🤘🏼😎
I thought I’d give you the end of this story… after five months we have our ski back, Yamaha ended up replacing our motor. We’re back on the lake!
@@livingwithkimjim9057 Right on! Glad yamaha made it right even though it took awhile. Thanks for the update 😎🤘🏼 hoping it warms up here soon. Ready to get back on the water!
Just bleed the oil out once you remove the filter. Dont use a pump. Also be careful not to overfill oil just bottom of the dipstip
The TR-1 runs best when filled half way on the dip stick.
Some ones a HVAC guy lol
🤣 lol yes sir
