So many of the movies that touched my heart have been those Ethan Hawke's been in. The Before series, Waking Life, Dead Poet.. & the documentary where I bawled the most at was Seymour: An Introduction. Someone who's integrated so that he knows his values, which aligns with his thoughts & actions, so that he's at ease. & Ethan Hawke's existential moments in that documentary touched me too. His thoughtfulness & how down to earth he is. I wish I had a friend or mentor like Ethan Hawke ❤

Huge Ethan Hawke fan and I love that he loves music so much. Before Sunrise and Before Sunset are on my short-list of all-time favorites. I have to be honest though - I recently watched BLAZE and I thought it was an absolutely awful film. Embarrassingly bad. And I’ve been a Blaze Foley fan for 20 years. But I’ll always watch every single thing Ethan is involved with.

His first wife Cynthia said, he slapped her once, when they were in art college, and that he was remorseful and regretted it, and didn't do it again. And, he was like 19. Moreover, unlike many of his comtemporaries, John evolved and became an advocate for women's rights. Yoko helped in this. Check out the song John wrote, 'Woman is the N****r of the World'. And he always treated her as his equal, more so, actually. So, shoddy journalism, embellishments, hearsay etc, notwithstanding, John grew to treat women quite well.
