We visited Mahogany Bay in March. It was beautiful. We opted to do a private tour. It was wonderful. And worth every penny. Our tour guide drove us around to wherever we wanted to go. We got to hold a sloth and see other animals. He showed and taught us a lot about the culture and history. We even got to eat iguana. I cannot wait to visit again. I have lots of video and hope to post a vlog eventually!
Traveling solo is so liberating. You will love it! You can do what you want and when you want. And the best thing is you can do absolutely nothing at all and no one is going to call you out on it. And traveling solo is not just for introverts. I love meeting people and socializing. But I also shut down after a while and need my alone time. But all is good when traveling solo. Do it!! And take at least a 7 day cruise. My first solo cruise, even 3 days in I was disoriented and asked myself, what did I do? But by the last day I didn’t want to get off the ship.
Great video! Mahogany Bay is my favourite port. The beach is so gorgeous. Stayed in the water for ages, and a man dressed in black top and tails came over to us , waist deep in the water with a tray and two glasses with a bottle of champagne! It was a photo shoot arranged by the ship! So much fun!😀

I've done 3 cruises all solo. I just booked my 4th. Mardi Gras Roatan, Costa Maya and Cozumel. Also solo. Solo is the only way to cruise! I'm looking forward to my Havana Interior and MARDI GRAS!
We flew into that tiny Roatan airport. Short runway so good brakes on those big planes are pretty important! Stayed 5 years ago for a week with friends that own a condo at Pineapple Villas. They owned a vehicle too, so we had private tours and transportation the whole week. They rent out the condo many months of the year and only spend 3-4 weeks in house a couple of times a year. Look up Pineapple Villas Roatan.

Enjoy your solo cruise! An introvert, I always love cruise solo. I sit by the pool reading, hoping nobody talks to me. 😂 🛳

Only if you are ordering more than 2 mains. And you can get the same thing in buffet marketplace essentially
