So glad you took us along with you and Robert on this tour. I’ll be there in a couple of weeks and I’m glad the beach and shopping are close because I didn’t book a tour. So happy that I can just walk around. Thank you Favor, you’re the sweetest.🥰

Okay, yes, I will definitely try Emeril's. I've never had a Banana Foster either and I love red beans and rice. Looked like a great excursion. I'm a little apprehensive about excursions too and still feel uncomfortable about the buses/vans. Like you said, everyone has to find their own comfort level. Thaks for sharing!
Hi my friend! I had MANY Banana Foster in the remaining days of my cruise...it was SO GOOD! Just remember to always triple check the gluten free. This crew is fantastic but seem to still be learning. Big hugs!
Loved this. Great job on the paddle boards. We are about to leave to go on the Mardi Gra again in late November to the Western side this time and we are excited to visit Roatan. You two are the best🚢💕

What a great excursion! I need to keep this in mind. The water looked so refreshing! The food in Roatan looked yummy too. We have done the lift over to the beach before. That was a fun time too. Thanks for bringing us along!
I actually did not eat the food... I was so worried about gluten...they could not answer me definitively so I skipped it. Sadly... I wanted to try the bananas! lol! The mascot of our MG cruises was the banana! haha! Hugs my friend!

The zip lining at Roatan is a fun thing to do. My "kids" and I did that and met my hubby at the beach. We had a great time. I don't blame you about doing Carnival excursions. My hubby will pay more money to make sure we don't get left. We were 2 hours leaving late from Limon Costa Rica because of a Carnival Excursion. They were given a police escort to port. People were lucky that were late NOT on the excursion.
I SO WANT to try it but I am SO CHICKEN! haha! Yep, you never have to worry when on a ship excursion. Great peace of mind because you never know what can happen! Hugs!
Can't blame you for feeling more comfortable with Carnival excursions - very smart - limit our exposure, like you said, and also much better for contact tracing, just in case. Big French Cay is gorgeous, and I LOVE ME some Bruno Mars, baby!!!!! :) Sounds like they had a pretty killer playlist! Those hands are neat, but yeah - they must get hot in the sun. Great job on the paddleboards, ya'll. So glad ya'll had such a great day - you work hard, you DESERVE it, LOVED to hear you both say that!! You're right - gorgeous aesthetic going on in in that section of the ship! The curves, lighting, and colors used make it feel even more relaxing. Was that the CD in white? He looked like a Dr. with a long coat on - I backed it up several times to look at it. Thank goodness you guys were on top of your game about the lemon tart being gluten free, before you got sick! They should DEFINITELY get their stuff together regarding GF - it'[s not like a LOT of people aren't having to eat that way these days! And could get seriously ill if they don't!! I don't care for Bananas Foster - caramel way too sweet for me.

This port resembles Amber Cove. I can't wait to book another cruise on the Mardi Gras, there is so much that we did not get a chance to do. Fun ship, absolutely loved it! Great vlog :)
If you want to try paddle boarding at home, check with a local place, river or whatever that has it. They should give lessons and you learn starting kneeling so you get the paddle part down then move up. You should also have a tether on your ankle, at least what my friends who own a paddle boarding company said. It's also great muscle and core building.
I am looking for local places for sure! I want to really get good at it so it is comfortable. In HMC I had an ankle tether, I liked that a lot...especially when I fell off! haha! It is a core workout for sure, but the best kind because it doesn’t feel like a workout at all! Thank you! Hugs!

Curious why did you select big french key over little french key? We will be in Roatan in April and trying to decide between those 2 or enjoying the free beach and activities. Big french key almost looked like starfish island in belize!
Hi! Big French Key was the only one offered by Carnival on our sailing. The free beach is nice but Big French was nicer. Far fewer people on our excursion than at the free beach. And, the water is crystal clear, at the free beach it tends to be cloudy.The food was included as well. Just some of the differences to add to your consideration. Hi! We of course love Cucina but I also enjoy Mongolian Wok/GiGi’s and Bonsai Sushi! We don’t prefer the steak house, it’s pricey and not as many gluten free options. That said on embarkation day you can get. Free bottle of wine! Have a blast!! I know you will!!! Hugs!

hi! quick one how good/bad is the WiFi onboard? Will it be fast enough for work? Is it better in MardiGras compared to other ships?
Hi, The Wifi was really pretty good. I could stream TH-cam and I could stream to TH-cam. Because I don't know what you will be doing for work I can't say if it would be good for work but I could email, message, facetime and use apps without issue most of the time. During Peek times it might get a bit slow but otherwise the premium Internet was fine. Better than other ships? About the same on Breeze, Vista and Horizon this year ( we have cruised them all since July 2021). I fell like the internet has been improved over our sailings in 2019.

I can’t wait to try Emeril’s , the fried shrimp looked super tasty, we’re on Mardi Gras in late January, was that the GoPro 9 or 10 Robert was using? We just got the 10 , looking forward to using it soon.
We skipped the 10, I have the 9. I am sure the 10 will be amazing! Be sure to have extra batteries, the Gopros have terrible battery life! Hugs!
