You are welcome! I want people to know what they are getting into. Except for the bathroom and theater, almost everywhere else has plenty of comfortable seating!
Theater is the same set up as the Allure of the Seas and Disney Dream. I’m tall and pretty bulky. I had no trouble in either. Norwegian and Royal is definitely your speed. Seems like you don’t want to socialize or be annoyed by other cruisers.
@@GoArmy87 Isn’t that the truth! I like to manage everyone’s expectations so they can know if a ship provides the right experience for them. But like pizza, there’s no such thing as a bad cruise! Have a blast!
As I said, it was hard to come up with 5 "worst" things! I did love the ship, but man those bathrooms! The only issue we had with the elevators is how fast the doors shut after arriving on the floor; you practically had to run to make it!
I just found out about your website (Thanks to you for mentioning it lol). I must say there is some pretty interesting content and would be worth spending more of my time reading these articles !
I have to get back to it. I haven’t added much in awhile since I was basically just making articles of my videos and I think I want to go another way with it! More supplemental info.
I've been on the Mardi Gras and the Jubilee, and I am just not a fan of the Excel class ships, and mostly for the same reasons as you. Kendal Fire was fantastic though, and made it mostly worth it.
My wife and I went on a cruise in August even though we had a good time . We thought that carnival should leave the bigger ships to other cruise lines .We have more fun on smaller ships we did not care too much for the food in the main Buffy. we stayed in the cloud, nine spa rooms. and yes, the bathrooms are small. And. serval times a day we went to the cloud, nine spa, pool and steam rooms and could not believe how noisy it was in there the only thing noisier was the Lido deck sell away party. and yes, the serenity deck was quite noisy also. probably won’t sell on the Jubilee again unless the grandkids want to give it a try. Our next cruise is on the dream.
All of consumers are on par. And the spa is tucked away at mid level... it was such a perk on the Magic to be on floor 12 and have my cabin, spa and spa polls all grouped together.
Awe. I wanted to book her for me and my sister's family. Yet, the dive in movies. Not having seating is a big turn off. Maybe I will book the Dream. Yet of, I will still try the Jubilee w/my family as we live to cruise at least twice a year!
I was thinking…oh boy, here’s comes a negative Nancy. Whoa, was I WRONG! I didn’t even realize the problems that you mentioned were problems, but I agree with everything you said. Well done video!!!!
The whole boat and room was so hot I was soaked so it felt like I got to use the pools that I couldn’t because they were too full with kids :) Everyone was so miserable on the ship that my lack of appetite made the bland food and lines a nonissue:)
We didn't spring for that, but from a distance it didn't seem too busy. I will say we could see everyone in the private pool from below in the serenity area. People would forget that the glass front wasn't very private!
No disrespect but it sounds like you go on cruises and don’t want other people around. I think the larger, more active ships aren’t up that alley. I know the dream was lovely and peaceful. Not a lot of people. But a ship with 6,000 people….its going to be noisy and active.
I’m not sure how you came to that conclusion, but you would be wrong. I enjoy meeting new people and having great conversations. The Dream is my favorite Carnival ship, although I love all the options on the Jubilee (as I said in the video), and it didn’t feel crowded at all. I just think the Serenity Area was designed as a quiet retreat, and that wasn’t the case around the pool area.
@@cruisingfromtheozarks yea I definitely think carnival should rename that area lol especially because there's a bar! Call it adults retreat or something because people come to carnival to partayy as it is
I definitely think they need a quiet retreat. the Lido is a party spot already. Except for close to the bar and pool, people are usually reading, napping, etc. in the Serenity Area, and I think it is definitely important to have a space like that on a line like Carnival that draws in partiers. I just think they need a separate adult partying area. Especially on the XL-class ships that have the space for something like that!
I’m going on it next month and can’t wait!!!
@@monicajohnson6183 we are too!! Feb 1st !
Thank you so much for mentioning how plus sized passengers could navigate through this cruise!

Well, no ship is perfect. My family and I will be on the Jubilee in February, we're going to have a blast!

February 1st for us!
Great video.... We may have been on the same Cruise.
Pretty picky. We got off the Jubilee last week and was by far our best Carnival cruise. Only complaint was the elevator.
As I said, it was hard to come up with 5 "worst" things! I did love the ship, but man those bathrooms! The only issue we had with the elevators is how fast the doors shut after arriving on the floor; you practically had to run to make it!
Have you tried out Royal Caribbean cruises? I hear they are less of a wild party vibe. Might be more your cup of tea?
I’m small so the bathrooms are perfect for me but the serenity deck sounds like it would piss me off .
It definitely might near the pool after noon!
Today from 1-5 on the Serenity deck… Pandemonium party! Hahaha!!!

How good is the a ac in the cabins?
@@Babyangel3838 I had heard complaints prior to our cruise, but the AC worked fine in our cabin (and I like to keep it cool).

We have done spa rooms on the Dream before and loved it except for being directly under the gym! I won't make that mistake again!

you wouldn't happen to know if they finally put electrical outlets by the bed for people with a CPAP machine would you?
They have not. There were book lights with a usb on each side, but no outlets. They were all at the desk area. 🫤
Any info on Loft 19?
