I'm so glad you went back to cruising! Years of cruising "with you" and I'm just back from my 1st cruise!!! We had so much fun and I used so many tips from your videos. It was like I was a seasoned cruiser! I brought back Covid but I don't care. I had a blast with my 2 mom's and 2 daughters!!! Thanks for sharing! I'm off to binge the whole series!

Like others have commented, yours was the first cruise channel that I watched. And watching your family cruise trips gave me a lot of joy watching everyone's different personalities and antics. You are the OG cruise vlogger, that's for sure.
As someone from the UK, it's so amusing to me seeing someone this excited about riding on the sorts of trains we use daily here lol! But I love it. Makes me realise how much travel convenience we take for granted.

Question: what luggage can you take aboard? I will have a checked luggage size suitcase, carry on and backpack. I will be flying to Orlando for a week then Miami for a week and want to take the train back and forth so I can fly back home out of Orlando.

The train is not high speed all. I took a cruise out of Miami a few weeks ago from Orlando and it took us 3 hours and 45 minutes to get there. Much more cost-effective to drive when you have more than one person.

Last year I did two solo cruises with P&O around Norway and Croatia and loved them both and made friends from meeting people on those cruises 😊

Doesn’t Brightline offer a shuttle to the cruise port?
No but if you book the premium package it comes with a ride share ride a few miles out!

Did you still have to pay for your son?
Yes I had paid for him and cruise fares are non-refundable but I did get the port fees and taxes back because he didn’t go. Now that they’ve incorporated port fees and taxes into the fare and it’s all one sum I wonder how it would work? I think if it had happened now I wouldn’t have gotten anything back.

I'm so glad you're back at it! You, and your channel, prepared me for my very first cruise many years ago and it's what made me want to be a cruise content creator. I actually met you, and Nara, at the Buc-ee's in Daytona a few years back on our way to Disney. Odd, but you all were walking out of the bathroom and I had to say hello. I actually mentioned it in my Vlog for that day! But, again so glad you're back. Can't wait for the rest!

Thanks for sharing your Brighline trip to the Miami Port. Brightline goes right through my home town just north of Melbourne. Did you have any more luggage than what you were carrying? Just wondered how the luggage works on Brightline from Orlando to the port.
