Yhoooo i need this book, i went through the same while i was divorcing. 2021 a cout was my second home because we had about 3 court cases and it was a very depressing time of my life. The person i was married too tried to silence me by saying that our divorce decreee says i must never speak about what happened. I really need to read this book because i thought im the only one who had a terrbile divocre and now to hear that there is someone else who went through the same its helping me on my healing journey.
Imagine someone treating you so bad in marriage, abuse you and then when you finally file for divorce they want to kill you, they demand your pensions and not showing any remorse.

Cancer treatment is expensive! I went through the same thing with my son last year! He was diagnosed with awing sarcoma, his bills were roughly R1.5million! Thankfully the medical aid covered most of it! I only paid R50k additional! When he got diagnosed, we had to upgrade our medical cover because our cover was not sufficient!

Such an eye opener! I had a breast cancer scare last year. went through the ultrasound and biospy and it was honestly one of the worst case of my life.
There are times when i think to myself this moneythat im paying could be used for something else but im learning you can always make that sacrifice, sometimes it does feel like a sacrifice. All these medical, funeral, life and retirement things can be a lot sometimes.

The takeaway for me is that I don't have to know big financial jargon, I can ask a simple question my financial advisor or a broker or consultant - if I were to be diagnosed with X, what would happen financially and what do I need to do or pay for my best outcome?

What hit me was the way Lerato said "I'm not putting blame to him for the abuse because I enabled it".
