Very informative, very insightful, and a lot of lessons learned. I wish the host could have allowed the guests more time to finish her sentences, especially towards the end. This podcast is really a life changer thank you both.
I've always appreciated Dr Lekalakala's candor, wit, and unmatched humour (I'm always camping on her insta stories 😂❤️). I relate so much to how emotive the financial decisions we make are, and have been bearing the brunt of that the past few months. It's getting better and I cannot wait to gain more financial education. Such conversations are rally valuable and I cannot wait to watch this again with my 19 year old little brother. Thank you Mapalo ❤️
37 year old lady here.I went through the home-ownership process twice.First in 2013 then in 2020.I went straight from my parents' house into my own home.I've never rented. In hindsight,I wish I did. Both times I felt stuck in neighborhoods that turned out to be unpleasant as soon as I settled in.Also, the buying and selling process in itself is incredibly stressful. As for Estates agents and transfer attorneys...that's a topic for another day to unpack.I'm back at my parents' house now and absolutely loving it.Great and insightful conversations on this channel,as always.💛💛💛
This is so relatable, Me and my husband bought a house in 2022 but we already selling only after 2 years, this episode was very important....Very insightful and worth a watch....Thanks Mapalo...
@@lelos9388 Pressures of getting married and wanting to own a house without proper planning, and we went for a very expensive house, over 1m+ as a start, with 1 income in the household, that was quiet a bad move......but lesson learned, rent as much as you can while saving for your house......
We also made the same mistake of pressurizing ourselves into buying without evening planning properly. The process took us about 3 months also, and I hate to say that I wish we had waited and did a proper research.
we really learn a lot of things we were never exposed to as children from such videos and we are grateful for you guys
thank you Claudia 🤗❤
I really love how they addressing so many issues with such a casual tone. This is a beautiful and helpful conversation

So informative. Are bond originators must when buying a house? If the house doesn't require a deposit is it a good or bad thing?
