    I am new to Trainz and have searched TH-cam for help for beginners with little success, that is until I found you! Fantastic teaching... I'm going to name you Professor Trainz! Thank you!

    Thank you for a really useful series. (a nod to Thomas fans!)
    I'm a beginner. I have watched 4 episodes so far, and expect to watch all 19.
    They are clear and easy to follow.

      Also, when my new computer arrives, I will resume streaming Trainz route building livestreams. You more than welcome to ask me questions on those if you like.

    Thank-you, another helpful tutorial. When selecting a track from the list, how can you tell if the track is the procedural type or not? Do you later intend to explain more about what procedural track is and its pros and cons?

      @Sharadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The way I tell whether a track is procedural or not is by making a (straightened) junction with it, if the splines just merge into each other then it's not procedural, if the splines make a dynamic junction then it is procedural. As for pros and cons: the pros are that it looks much more realistic when making junctions (the junctions will also animate when switched), the cons are that on lower end computers it can lag a bit (if you have a lot of it in one place).

      I'm unsure what you mean. Could you give me an example of what you're having trouble with? What's going wrong for you?

    Just a question is super elevated tracks available in iphone version ?
    If yes how to do it ? After pressing Track property (?sign) when i click on any track or spline it open up a tab and show ne name and layer option at top and rest all empty !

    I try to put speed signs in a custom route, but they won’t work. Is there something required to make speed signs work?

    • @Sharadise
      @Sharadise  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm...
      If the new speed limit is higher than the current one, then the entire train needs to pass the sign for it to update. Could this be the issue?
      What asset are you using, I can give it a try myself and see if I run into the same issue.

      @@Sharadise I’m using it in Trainz 2 on mobile, and the speed sign used in this video is not in it.

      @@agrady7216 The one in my video is probably from the DLS. Which asset are you using (the one that's not working right)?

      @@Sharadise I think it’s speed 100, it’s just a small white sign with a 100 on it.
