Rayleigh is also able to sense the inherent strength of those around him, in quite the radius even. He for example estimated how many creatures on Rusukaina were stronger than pre-timeskip Luffy (I think it was 500 or so).
Blackbeard hinted he could as well, On Jaya he mentioned that Luffy seemed to have a haki of someone greater than 30mil bounty and in Impel Down mentioned that Luffy's haki had improved (though maybe he was just sensing Luffy's haki and not his strength.)
Eneru also had a comment about how many fighters would be left by the end of his game, implying that he had the ability to either see part of the future or could sense the relative strength levels of the individuals on Skypeia.
Luffy can use this ability as well to an extent. He used it in Dressrosa when he first met Fujitora

Ann is probably Roger's former wife/girlfriend who died. Yeah, crazy because "why would he name his ex-wife's to his former wife's daughter". I cant drag on, so, you get the picture. This connects to the idea of:
1. On the recent SBS, Oda never answered the question about "not Roger's first time on holding a baby"
2. The "Queen Anne's Revenge Ship" (makes me think about a certain queen/noble named Anne appeared on God Valley incident, maybe Shanks' mom?)

In terms of "in-world power scaling", Blackbeard at Impel Down was the first time I recall anyone blatantly remarking on strength comparison, noting that Luffy's haki was stronger than it was the last time they met.

In Drum kingdom right after Blackbeard is mentioned (I believe for the first time in the story) it cuts away to luffy and I think sanji where luffy states that people from snowy countries don't sleep. When asked how he knows this he says I heard it in the bar back home, implying maybe he heard it from one of the red haired pirates. Vegapunk is also from a snowy country and Blackbeard seems to know more about DFs than he should so maybe he learned it from Vegapunk while being experimented on? I definitely think there is a connection between the two tho.

While it wouldn't be surprising if we find out that Blackbeard has Conquerors haki I have a suspicion that he can't, or at least not be able to coat himself with it. My reasoning is that he obtained the gura gura no mi, whose powers seem to be suspiciously similar to conquerer coating.

I don't see where else to put this except for in this comment section, but I would love to see an edit of the anime (once it's all finished in something like 20,000 years) that follows the whole story from the POV of certain characters, either off screening or showing briefly others' fights and stories depending on their relevancy to the character.
For example, the one everyone wants would be for Zoro, and would skip most fights he wasn't a part of, like the one with Crocodile, but at least show an abridged fight with, say, Moria, because that goes into the thing with Luffy's pain bubble. Other than that, it's basically just an edit of Zoro's fights with enough separate scenes to be able to follow along with the story (or at least the bits relevant to Zoro.)
The funniest one would probably be Luffy's, because it would probably just be one big fast forward button over all the lore and worldbuilding and just be an edit of his fights.

Teech is known to have multiple personalities-its a major theme of his character-and since the devil fruits might be connected to those personalities (common theory, along with his jolly roger having 3 heads), I think it’d be cool if he only had conqueror’s haki for certain personalities.

Hey Liam, short pitch for a new video idea i got while watching this video:
I recently started to collect the one piece volumes and now i'm starting to realise that it's not a simple task at all if you want to get all the special and extra releases too. There is just too much going on with Databooks, Vivre Cards, One Piece Magazines (which i only can find in japanese and, weirdly enough, french), Ace Novels, the Law Novel, etc....
You seem to have a lot of the books yourself as you sometimes show them in your videos and i personally would love if you could explain which books feature which contents (cause i think many of us don't know this at all) and which of them someone has to buy so he can call himself "a true One Piece Fan". I hope others are interested in this subject too.

A special zoan subcategory would be really cool. A category for the smaller, swarm based animals like birds and insects/arachnids. Where many types could utilize flight, venoms, and all could could control their swarms with a hive like sentience, as well as access the logia power of intangibility. Hey GLR, unrelated but I’ve always wondered this: if Luffy coats a normal sized arm in haki, does it take more effort/haki to then make it giant or stretched out as his surface area is increasing or would you say it’s the same amount, just spreading with his body?
I think it takes more haki to cover the larger mass when he expands. I think that’s why law said “he’s using too much haki” when he went gear fourth against doffy. I thinks that’s why the form drains his haki so fast
@@vernon2711 maybe, but i believe with how it was explained that its some sort of balance going on between rubber and hard armament, plus its still elastic and bouncy even when someone like doffy hakis up and hits him
@@Robo-xk4jm true. What really made me think of it draining more haki was how in the anime when he charges up for king kong gun the haki lines on his body start becoming bigger. It’s a subtle thing but it made me think about how it would work if he needed more haki to deliver a bigger hit. Kk gun happened so fast in the manga it was neat to have a lil more background to it in the anime
Guys, Haki is not quantifiable. It's literally willpower. There is no such thing as "it costs less haki to do this, more haki to do that". It's not like chakra or ki
@@scandalfop2093 This is also true its strength is based on how strong your will is so you are right about that with it not really having a measurable amount. Law’s words about using too much just always make me think about it in terms like that though

The only example that comes to mind would be Rayleigh, who stated that there is at least 100 animals stronger then Luffy.
Fukuro (big ol' owl of cp9) was able to calculate the strenght of the people he met with the Doriki system. In retrospect it sounds very much like Kobi's observation power
