Thank you for the easy to follow instructions. For the last 4 months, my remote has not worked, I've had to put it in the center console to start the vehicle and couldn't lock or unlock my car with it. I replaced the battery, and it still didn't work, then I watched your video, this entire time, I had put the battery in the opposite direction. Once it was in right, I clicked the locked button and it works perfectly fine. A little embarrassed to admit I had a blonde moment (well, 4 months of blonde moments) lol Thank you again.😅

Orientation of the battery is indeed important, I got that wrong the first time I tried to replace the battery. It happily snaps in the upper piece, even if in the wrong orientation. Thanks for publishing this!

Thank you. Sorry if you answered this in the video, stopped watching after seeing how to open it, but how long do the batteries normally last in these? Have had mine for 2.5 years, and just started getting the message to replace the battery a couple weeks ago.
