You have a very blessed day too Mary
Great video! Very professionally made! Love them Cubs! I have a cub cadet 1250 that I’m working on at the moment.
I love that little tractor... Thanks for stopping by my friend
@@HomesteadingNorthernMichigan thank you for your videos! I do have a request for you though. Show more videos with your cub! I really enjoy your videos!
I think I can do that that... Have a great night
@@HomesteadingNorthernMichigan you too!
Gettin it done!
Oh yeah
You are making this look easy.
Other than mini bikes and motorcycles this was the easiest clutch I've ever done.... How are you tonight
Still waiting on that invoice lol
Doing good and invoice will be done tomorrow. I ordered the knifes tonight.
@@mattsara2802 perfect
Nice tractor 🚜
Thank you boss
Ok no excuses now, get milling lumber! Lol
Hi Jason, how are you guys, keeping busy? Have a wonderful day 👍
Very very busy
Yes I would be willing to guess brass bushing
Metric on a 76 lol nice learning experience thanks
I use metric.. almost all standard sizes have a metric equivalent
Those 18mm bolts could have been replaced
You should have been able to slide the shaft towards the motor , my 154 is a 72 I just take the bolt out of the front like you did but I just slide the shaft forward and it gives you just enough room to pull the clutch out and put the new pilot bushing in
Nope.. not on the 76 ... I did read before that there was an easier one but it wasn't mine so I don't know the exact set up .. there's also 2 different clutches between the two
Thanks for stopping by my friend
I got myself a 154 with a Landry list of problems including the engine rebuild this week
Sounds like fun.. how much was the rebuild kit?
I think $200 i replaced the rings still have a little smoke coming out the oil fill walls were checkd by a heavy equipment mechanic and we had 120psi what else can cause blowby ?
You just saved yourself a lot of $$
Yes I did .. thanks for stopping by
how long did it take from start to finish? did you follow the procedure in the service manual or somewhere else or what? about to attempt the job myself
You got this... thanks for reaching out on Facebook
My cluch wont stop Free spinning when i appy the Clutch petal.
There's a threaded rod for adjusting the clutch brakes
never put washers under the Pressure plate. never put washers between fly wheel and Pressure plate
The clutch was tagged with those washers and instructions... I haven't had a problem yet
1974 was the last year for the 154.
Are you sure...
Starting in 1975 it was the 185 model. That's what I have.
@@redhead82390 hmmm. Now I need to figure out what year it is
Much earlier than a 76 model.
You're not the first to say that .. I bought it as a 76 😆😆😆
This is the best video I have found on how to replace this clutch. Just finding ANY videos on this model seems difficult. I live in northern Michigan too and was wondering if you could help me fix mine? I could trade my labor for your labor on a different project. If your interested head to my TH-cam page and shoot me a message. Thanks.
What's the Hp on that bad boy? Good job!
I think 15hp
154 15hp but the engine is a torque monster 185 is 18hp
