Thanks for the video and walking us through the process. I have a ‘72 154 with a bad clutch that I’ve been pushing off changing. It’s not the easiest job but very doable with a simple tool set. I also liked your video for dressing up the 154. Feels like that tractor is almost forgotten but at least we can still get parts for them. You’ve given me some inspiration to get my mechanical work done and to give my 154 a good clean and paint and get it ready for the next 15 years of service.

There's hardly any good videos on the subject, or they're done so poorly (like being filmed in portrait mode) that you can't tell what's going on. Thanks again!
Looking to buy a 154, there is a nice looking one in my price range but needs a clutch. If it has the same hook up on the engine that allows the shaft to move forward would make it easy, some of the 154 the motor has to move forward about 2" and a lot more to remove to get the clutch out. Thanks for showing all the fine details by keeping the camera running.

This is great! Today after mowing an air strip for my dad's RC planes and ATV trailed one of the clutch lever brackets in my 154 broke and it made a HORRIBLE sound! I removed the bolts that hold the bracket ears in but problem is though the lever is still being held in by the spring. Do you have video on removing the lever or do I have to replace the whole clutch pressure plate? Get back with my as soon as possible because I love using this tractor for mowing and what not.

I’ve got some me old SK ratchets that are pretty good.
SK was a great tool ,some of the hardware stores carried them for a while but i don't know if they are still being made or not.

go to the 154 play list on my channel and they are there. i think there is about 10 or so.
