Dude, I can not even put into words how amazing your into was. I am a Christian, and it is always amazing when people like you speak about the gospel. Great job
I have a 44 Pro, HoH R2G and Pro Preferred all purchased this year. I think both Rawlings gloves have substantially better craftsmanship. The Pro Preferred is clearly the best out of the 3 in terms of quality and craftsmanship. The HoH R2G is a step down from the PP and the 44 Pro is another step down from my HoH. Both Rawlings use better grade leathers with the PP being the highest level. While the 44 Pro uses Kip leather, it just doesn't feel like the quality is as good as even my HoH R2G. Rawlings definitely use better quality laces. Thicker and more supple than 44 laces which are thinner and feel harder/stiffer. The Pro Preferred lining is super luxurious feeling. The 44 Pro sheepskin lining is a big step down while the HoH R2G deertanned cowhide lining isn't as soft as the other two, but I prefer the fit and feel on the inside of the HoH glove over the 44 Pro. If you're shopping for a quality glove and don't care about customizing the colors, I would recommend either Rawlings HoH or Pro Preferred over the 44 Pro. If you buy buying a prior season model Rawlings glove which can be had at a significant discount, the price ends up being about the same as the price of a 44 Pro even with a 25% discount. The choice is obvious to me. However, if you really want to customize the colors, I can see choosing a 44 glove.
Your newest 44 pro is awesome I ordered mine with 95% player break in without knowing how much of a difference it would make, but your video on it helped a lot. 💯❌🧢💯❌🧢💯❌🧢💯❌🧢💯❌💯
Nice vid! I relace gloves. I’m a huge Rawlings fan! Even have a GTOM design by my friends at Leather and Lumber Athletics. I have 2 Pro 44 and I can honestly say that they are right there hand and hand with any Rawlings. I feel like HOH May actually last longer than PRO P. Pro 44 are just as durable. Pro 44 are better than ANY A2000. The only reason I feel people choose Wilson is because they have better color choices and designs than Rawlings. If you have $180-$200 to spend on a glove there’s no reason to pick anything other than Pro 44. They have sales every holiday weekend and you can get 20% off.
HOH goes soft and unusable waaaaay quicker than PP. But cool story bro! Wilson A2K is #1 for durability and longevity btw. Get out there and try some other mitts before spreading misinformation.
@@TheDoozie43 You can be a brand loyalist to Wilson. I’m speaking thru experience. I relace and break-in over 100 gloves a year. I can honestly tell you Wilson keeps me busy! That’s not a good thing. The A2K is a great glove but at that price point there’s dozens of better options.
U should get a 44 pancake trainer or training glove. I've always wanted one, and the closest I can get to it is to watch my favorite TH-cam do a review with one.
I like your comparison I feel the part you leave out, youre comparing outfield Rawlings to a infield/ pitcher model of 44. Also the 44 has thinner laces because they are 100% custom where rawlings has the thicker laces for outfield and catchers gloves. Great video I love my two 44s. I was always a fan of the heart of the hide and a2000 and the ssk pro (early 2000s models). What is your favorite glove of all time and model. mine was my Rawlings HOH PRONG5 11 inch H web nomar model that he had one year chocolate brown with white welting
I noticed the glove locks/ lace tightening system on your 44. Do you put those on as soon as you unbox or only in certain circumstances? What are the pros/cons of those in your opinion? How many do you use per glove? Do they ever break? Thanks
Wearing your glove with two fingers in the pinky will help, some gloves make it harder to do that but it’s definitely possible you just need to put a ton of work in on it
If you had to pick between a Wilson, Rawlings or 44 what would you pick for 3rd base? I’ve used Wilson and Rawlings and I like Wilson a little more but never used 44 so I want to try
I personally would pick 44, one is because I love the leather they use and I have many so I know they they are high quality just like Rawlings and Wilsons, and two because it’s fully customizable which obviously means you can make a sick looking glove but it also means you can make the exact build that you want for third. If you have a certain web you like you can use it and you can get any length you prefer. It’s simply all up to you to make your perfect glove!
On the 44Pro gloves. Is there a design change from the infield and outfield gloves or is it just the sizing? 12.25" is the biggest infield and my normal glove is 13.5", which I use for infield and outfield in slow pitch.
Does pro stiff and standard stiffness change the leather quality? Because my 44 is standard stiff and it looks dry and feels dry and my friends is pro stiff and feels good and looks shiny
Me and my brothers play slow pitch softball because we haven’t found a decent baseball league to join. We definitely want to join some kind of baseball rec league though.
@@ballgloveking but which type of glove from pro 44. because i want one but i play both infield baseball and slow pitch. (baseball glove or softball?) great collection BTW!
I'm on the hunt for a new glove, and I'm sad to say that it will probably be the last glove I own in my life. I currently play Men's Softball and Coach Little league so the glove will see a decent amount of usage. My dog, an 18 month old Doberman, just destroyed my glove, a 12" Nike which I bought about 15 years ago. I played all positions with this glove and snagged some amazing catches in the OF. The quality of it was awesome and it breaks my heart knowing I will not be playing with it anymore. Last season, after the incident, I just couldn't hold on to a hard hit ball. If one was hit to me the glove would move just enough on my hand to cause me to bobble the ball and make costly errors. Was I getting older and slower or was it the glove. I'd like to think it was the latter and believe a new glove will help me with those plays. I digress. So, my search is on for a new mitt and I came across the 44's and Rico's when I was looking at getting a custom glove. I, at first, was looking at the Rawlings Pro Preferred custom glove and although it has decent options at customization, they didn't have white which I wanted to put into the overall color scheme. My son's baseball team, and the town we live in, primary colors are White, Powder Blue and Navy blue and seeing as how I am willing to make the investment in my final mitt I didn't really want to settle. I came across Rico's gloves and they had an amazing amount of customization. Same with 44's gloves. This is what brought me to your review/comparison, which is thorough and excellent by the way so thank you. Given the price, the cost of living now and the fact that I have 3 boys, I just can't justify getting a $500+ glove that I'd have to settle for. SO.... 44 or Rico? Have you tried a Rico glove? If so, what are your thoughts and how does it compare to the 44? Thank you for an awesome comparison and God bless.
44 feel closer to Domins. An older Mexican glove brand. They don’t feel nearly as quality as Wilson a2000 or heart of the hide. Pro proffered are way better than 44. Heart of the hide and a2000 smoke 44. Not hating 44. I have two and just ordered another. But that’s just because i didn’t want to pay 200 more for a custom Rawlings or Wilson. That’s the only advantage to 44. Price.

Chris Bangert do you think their 9.5” trainer would be helpful for Slowpitch or would it be too small for that
grey, red, and blue
Green, Black, White. Different and I’ve never seen it
red, white, and blue batting gloves would be cool.
If you think about it the Rawlings probably only has one more season than the 44 but double the price and it’s customizable
Three colors for the batting gloves: Black, Royal Blue, and White trim
Amen
i love the chrisianity parts .
Green,Blue,Gold Great Vid
Blue, Gold and white

I really liked the first part of the video, I finally found a TH-camr who has good content and talks about the Lord.😁
So glad to help bro, I know what you mean I’m glad to help

I believe that the sizing just changes. If you are gonna play softball I would get a 44 softball glove
Black and gold
Does pro stiff and standard stiffness change the leather quality? Because my 44 is standard stiff and it looks dry and feels dry and my friends is pro stiff and feels good and looks shiny
No the only difference with pro stuff is that they do less break in work with it in the factory
@@ballgloveking If that’s not the reason, why do you think my glove looks dry and feels dry even after conditioning?
Hit me up on Instagram and send me some pictures, I’ll see if I can help
@@ballgloveking I don’t have IG but there is a video on my channel. Thank you
Gold, black and the last color could be any of these sky blue, red, white.
Red black grey
Is the form of the 44 pro glove good?
I love your videos and I love that you are spreading the love of Christ
Gold,purple,white
Do red, white, and blue for your 44 batting gloves
for the blonde 44 gloves what do you put for the color because sometimes they come like white can you please tell me
On the 44 builder make sure to choose blonde anywhere that you want the bone/blonde color
I have a 44 pro 574 and I think they are to thick and heavy, Then again I have small hands but my favorites are A2k.
I used to use a Brandon Phillips a2k and I loved it!
Is the Japanese 44 good
I gamed one last year and I loved it

which 44 glove do you use fore slow-pitch softball??
I use the dual welting glove that has the America theme
@@ballgloveking but which type of glove from pro 44. because i want one but i play both infield baseball and slow pitch. (baseball glove or softball?)
great collection BTW!
I picked the traditional model and put dual welting on it, hopefully that was want you wanted my bad bro
@@ballgloveking it was thanks man!
