There are actually a few things i've noticed with my V60 that are different with the camera. There are some situations where my old G8 did better and there are some where the V60 does better. They're both amazing cameras though for their price.

Hey Eazy. I have to say both of these 2 phones have awesome pics and videos, to me I'm liking the V60 just a little better than the LG G8. The V60 tends to put a little more contrast in the video and pictures, which I myself like more. As for the audio, the G8 has a more higher pitch than the V60, so to me, I'm liking the V60 audio. Great comparisons review and thanks for sharing my friend 👍 up as always

V60 definitely has better sensors, but the processing is similar, which is to be expected, I think we would see a bigger difference in low light which is where big sensors win.
As for audio, I never really liked the G8's mic, the sound dynamic range is horrible, but the V series has always had better mics and it shows.
However I still don't like that the V60 has noise reduction on video recording, it's very noticeable compared to my V30 with has none, washes out mic detail. Would like to know if it can be turned off.
you can use manual mode to make audio changes also a ext mic always work. thanks for watching
Sorry Eric can't post a detailed comment this time. I am in a hurry. Great and consistent comparison yet again. LG V^ is much better in video recording from each camera tested with much superior dynamic range and greater details. Audio recording was also a hands down win for the V60. Front facing Audio recording on the LG G8 is still tinny dispute the updates.
For Photos I did give the Win to the G8 in many instances especially when taking photos of flowers. It is to be expected that the LG G8 would perform exceptionally well especially in photos because it is an older phone which has received quite a few camera software updates. The LG V60 will surely get better as time goes on.

@Eazy Computer Solutions - this will take another run through to decipher the small differences where they are close. Overall I like the V60 best but that may be a product of old eyes and ears hence another look see. LG has impressed me once again. Thank you.

does the LG V60 have the same specs as the LG G8 as far as the fingerprint, palm scanner and does the V60 have the 4D option on pics like the LG G8 does? thanks
V60 didn't have face unlock feature. LG took away that feature.
Have we still been able to find out who made the camera lens for the V60 as well as the quad dac? I have been searching for it and I can't seem to find it. I know Sabre makes the DAC for the G8 and I have been trying to figure out who makes the V60?

@@TheTechPreacher The Quad DAC sounds a bit different though. My V60 has been very good but the audio sounds a bit less than my G8 🤔

Thank you for this review. I have been watching reviews of both the LG G8 and V60 in the hope of buying one. Am currently leaning towards the G8 although the V60 is an equally good phone. Any advice?

I have both. If you use Tidal to stream music, the G8 will sound better with Tidal's high resolution files. With the V60, though, you have some directional control with the microphones.
Get the g8x, have a great price, new UI, and some upgrades, ans de dual screen is fun to use!!
You may want to look at used V50s. They have better specs than the G8, but can now be had for around $400. And you are future proofed for 5g (at least if it works with your carrier).

Been looking to upgrade my g8 but compared to the v60 I think im gonna sit on the g8 while longer although I saw a few videos of the lg g9 that looks amazing and hopefully it will come out sooner than later

The lg V series is the equivalent of premium camera advantages and for those who own Lg G8 i don't think it is worth the upgrade because for every little difference that might be (in a good way) from G8 to V60 can be solved from manual tweaking and third party app also. In the last picture of the red flower you can see not so punchy color but so much detail over the V60. Sometimes it takes a little more time for the phone to adjust the light and the contrast, i am not saying that Eazy did not do a good job filming this it is exactly the opposite, all i am saying is that if you have a good suport or tripod for the phone even then you have to wait a little bit (sometimes) for the focus to adjust it self because this is made in real life without fancy super expensive equipment wich is the reason that i like this channel! I bet even the G7 still stands good against the v60 even though his time is almost past!
By the way, this is written from an Lg G8 wich i bought after i saw the comparison on this channel of the Lg G6, G7, G8 cameras. Keep it up, you are good and you are getting better and better and more charismatic, or maybe is just me i don't know!

Lg v 60 takes it a bit more detail in most pictures.
Same in video but not by much.
But this is as close as it gets I would not change a LG g8 for that reason.

I have a tip for your next video based on my G8X. Hehehe. Use the whale browser features to open app links on the second screen. Just copy the URL addresses and bookmark the whale. Preferably use the whale on the secondary screen. For example, open an Instagram feed on the whale, click on a profile photo and it will open on the main screen. I'm also using it for gmail where you can click on an email attachment that opens on the main screen. Sorry about my English. I'm using google translator. Hug.

I have watched alot of videos on this phone. The difference between this phone and alot others is peanut. Im not a big teck person. So most is beyond what i would every use. So the big question is what peanuts do you wount. And the important part is how much do you wount to pay for it.
In some of those photos, the G8 ones looked sharper to me. Which is crazy.
The video on the V60 looks better to me.

Stay away from Velvet. Velvet is a low value phone comparing to decent phones G8 & v60
I prefer the V series since it a power house on steroids.

It's missing 4k 60p front cam, could have better dynamic range, Stability seems good but it's daylight so... Not a huge improvement over the g8. Hardly anything actually(from this video) also missing ufs 3.0 and should include a bare bones minimum of 3x optical zoom for the rear... 5x would be better.

Thanks again for posting this video. Its exactly the comparison I wanted to see. I have the V60 and kept saying that the video and picture quality is very similar between the two. The G8 and V60 are trading blows in the picture and video comparison. I STILL think the V60 needs to up the exposure/vibrance of their rear cameras. I also thought the focal length of the front facing camera was a bit too shallow and they REALLY need to bring back the WIDE angle came in the front. Can you please do a comparson between the V40 and NOTE 10* against the V60?
Microphones on the V phones are excellent. The G8 did sound better!

V60 is more true vivid and detailed zooms in better. Less saturated than G8 they are close in comparison. Cant go wrong with either.

Both audio are great but G8 is just slighty better overall on image Q especially on flowers highlights on g8 are better but what about lowlight test?
No low light test right now I'm in a curfew for about 2 months sorry no low light videos for a few months

Cause v50 is litterally a V40 with dual-screen and 5G. The V40 was the big deal not the V50... Even tho it is better on paper.

Lg is disappointing, since the V30 their camera hadn't evolved too much. They had the best video recording on the market with the V30. Now they are far behind apple and samsung. Too bad.
