Firstly let me say great video, you have a mew subscriber with me. I just got my v60 today in the mail and i was beyond thrilled. After playing with for a couple of hrs (which isn't long ik) and comparing it to my G8... I like my old G8 better. Thank you for this comparison review on LG V series phones. I bought the V60 and my deciding factor was the dual screen ability. As for the camera results, honestly I liked the V60 resulys better. To each his own. I just want to point and shoot.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. There's no wrong answer, just what we each prefer to see. The V60 is a good phone and glad you're enjoying it.
The V50 seems to outshine the V60. I have the V60 and it does take good pictures, most times it takes a few snaps to get the shot I want. I think the high megapixel sensors is maybe not the answer quite yet.
Thanks a million. I have the V50 and just got a Pixel 4a 5g and noticed the downgrade in video quality right away versus V50. You also saved me from another return of a potential V60 since the V50 camera is better than that one too. I had no idea camera quality was going backward. I also don't understand why they made the V60 taller but not wider. There is no need to make a phone taller, it doesn't help except being bulkier & heavier.
V50 is using Sony IMX363 (same as Pixel 4XL) while V60 is using Samsung S5KGW1 - same as Redmi Note 8 Pro ($250) and TCL 10 Pro ($399) so no wonder it's underperforming for a flagship.
Please... Samsung sensors are the best in the business. Sony probably makes great DSLR cameras... But just like hassalblad make great cameras the op9 camera sucks for a 1 inch sensor on a $999 phone because it's made by Sony. Samsung makes great sensors and you're quoting prices on phones from China that cut costs in other ways and make less profit, their retail prices prove nothing.

Lastly, I've done a lot of these videos, I've reviewed many different phones, and therefore I don't think my integrity needs to be questioned. If you don't feel you can trust me, then that's too bad.
I ll be keeping the lg v50 although i really wish they could fix their front camera. I forgot the exact term but when taking a picture, either my face is the focus and the sky is realy bright or the sky is focused and my face is in the dark... I compared it to the note 9s i got for my father and honestly the back cameras are very very very similar although the lg is better in low light, auto focus, color accuracy and video/sound recording is way better. Average consumers would probably choose the xiaomi for the extra saturated pictures. The front camera of the xiaomi crushes the lg though xD 200$ phone with snapdragon 720g, feels bad.
Shocking! 16mp vs 64mp and yet somehow the photos from the V50 seem more detailed, with better colors and clarity when compared to the new flagship.

Have they done any updates to the software? Did you get an update on the performance?
LG will improve software in December, 2020 with Android 11 update
The battery long life or short life..how many days to use 4days or 45menutes
Which one is more realistic? Seems like they show two different colors.
Stablization is great on both!
You have G8? Can you also compare it to v60

Which one should i buy? LG V50 or LG V50S?
Does V50 support stylus like V60?
GreAt video but I think the v50/60 is so close. Very technical which I understand the reason for the video.
Thanks, they're both pretty good. You can just see the difference when directly comparing.
V50 ultra wide ftw💯🤙🏽
With respect im asking Where are the phones Mr Grand. What proof do we have that you are using lg v60. Or using some other phone calling it the v60. All other reviewers show the phones. Usually Lg phones are the same during pics and video
Go to his Instagram or Twitter.
Honestly, I forgot to get the V60 and hold it in my ending thoughts. I do it in my A51 vs Redmi Note 8 Pro videos.
Although, I also showed photos of the v50 and V60 in the video itself.
Lastly, I've done a lot of these videos, I've reviewed many different phones, and therefore I don't think my integrity needs to be questioned. If you don't feel you can trust me, then that's too bad.
Please link for real original picture files
Which for you is better? or do you prefer?
I like the V50
Why are you using digital zoom wanna use optical if available.
V50 has a limit of 2x optical zoom, all digital after that. V60 doesn't have optical zoom since it doesn't have a dedicated zoom/telephoto lens.
Best comparison
Thanks
Most front phone cameras aren't very good to me, so don't feel bad. 😉
hard to believe that the LG V50 takes BETTER photos than the V60 .....
That was interesting to me as well, but I'm sure many will prefer the V60 as the images are tuned more to stand out.
@@GrantLikesTech Excuse me friend, do you know if the LG V60 cameras are better than the Samsung Galaxy S10 +?
@@maikerulitchi9817 i came from s10 5g but i go back to lg v50 much better the lg phone all specs
Which phone has better display quality ??
V60
bro just use 64mp mode when taking photos on v60. also right now with android 13 v60 camera is a
beast.
Why V50 is Great Detail and look more natural
LG v50 is still great
Yup, still can hold its own.
The V50 oversharpens quite heavily though.
Where's the night sight segment... Lol
I wonder how on earth LG managed to mess up every single aspect of the camera setup apart from very few 50/50 exceptions.
Moved to a high MP sensor
