I took delivery of my Model Y about 2 weeks before you. You’re the first person I’ve heard talk about how the well inserts don’t fit. I had the exact same experience. I tried 4 different brands, including the ones directly from Tesla. In every single one, the right well insert buckled on the side closest to the passenger seat. For now I’m living without them and seem to be just fine.
My #1 accessory I always recommend is a matte screen protector. Helps protect the screen but also makes the screen not look like a kid's iPad by hiding fingerprints and reducing glare from the sun

I have a 2022 MY as well and have the rear side cubbie liners and covers and have the same issue. The cover on the right does not fit. I gave up and removed both covers.
i have owned a model 3 for over four years now. the only accessory i've purchased is a seasucker bike rack. fits in the frunk easily when not in use.

I really can't recommend the 3D Maxpider floor mats. I had them for four years in my Model 3 and they are not great with snow. The snow melts and since there are no channels to divert the water, I found myself with a foot in a puddle when we had any significant snow. The drivers side also developed a small hole after this past summer. I just switched to WeatherTech and I'm hoping for better winter performance out of them since they have the channels to divert the melting snow and the ridges will keep my foot out of the slush.

Ty for the content. I also own that j117 lock, let's be real about 3d printed pva [or pla?] as a lock lol 😆 that is barely a deterrent. Would be cool to see the guy step up to cnc some metal as a lock.
My number #1 roof shade is the Otrifowd V2 design for the model 3. They have one for the Y too. But try great, get to enjoy the glass roof when I want it, or close it entirely when I don’t. Half way through my drive.

just an fyi, our 2023 M3 didn't come with any floor mats. We installed TuxMat, coming from weathertech. The TuxMats are incredible, and definitely worth a look if you are shopping around.
No mats came in my 21 m3, I guess we are the lucky ones =b

By coincidence, I left a comment on your "warranty" video yesterday about an accessory for my Model 3, that I'm very happy with. That would be the Bomely Fit 2017-2023 Tesla Model 3 Model Y Screen Swivel Mount Center Console Navigation Original Silver Screen Rotating Holder for Model Y Model 3 2022 Accessories (Upgrade-Four Directions) I bought from Amazon mid May. It allows the console screen to move in any direction, which allows a better view of the console screen, and avoid sun glare. It's not hard to install, and something I think should come with the car.

My must-have for 3/Y is the rotating screen mount from Abstract Ocean. It's DIY, but a little tricky because of the cramped space. Once it's on, it makes a huge difference. I found the right side of the screen to be nearly unusable while driving. Now that's no longer an issue.

@@camrodriguez1240 apparently if u break something during the replacement then yes, but if doesnt break anything and the repair you do is unrelated to the screen then its fine.
But if u break the screen and come to the dealer with damage bc of the swivel then its not covered. Unless its a screen defect itself then swap the old hinge back then warranty fix it

Regarding the spare tire, don't the Model 3 and Model Y have runs-flat tires? Shouldn't that make a spare tire superfluous?
No, the Model 3 and Y have self-sealing tires. This is very different from run-flat. Self sealing tires have foam that (ideally) hardens around any air leaks, temporarily sealing them until a repair can be made. If they actually do go flat and you drive on them, you'll destroy the tire and (after a little while) your rim.
Depends on the tire, my recent Austin Model Y w/19" Gemini wheels has the *Continental ProContact RX tires,* they are "run flat", you can drive 50 miles at under 50mph on them but it likely trashes the tire (about $300 each).

Be careful with the side cubby tubs and lids from Teslarati, when I ordered mine their customer service got ahold of me to verify it was a Freemont build. They stated that it wouldnt fit in the Austin build. I confirmed mine was a Freemont build and the right cover still wont fit correctly. 2023 Model Y LR

Teslarati the folks that sell the 3D floor mats Ryan recommends have terrible customer service. We canceled our model Y order but I already ordered mats to prepare. We returned the mats Oct 25 with signed confirmed delivery, after many emails Teslarati still has not refunded our $600+ purchase price. I do not recommend them at all.
