You didn’t mention Jack pads Ryan. They should always be with the car so that nobody jacks it up accidentally without them.
A must for the S, X, 3 or Y.
Pickup my model Y next week! Ordering a few of these now! Thanks man!
Thanks Ryan for the videos. But.. I do blame you for my purchase of the MYLR last weeks. Lmao dream come true 😭😭😭 after hours of your videos
Would really appreciate it if you could do a similar video with the Model 3 Highland and compatible accessories
I love my 3D mats, which you suggested in your previous accessories video. When I go to the car wash, all I have to do is vacuum them and they're good to go. Worth all the money. I had a 100 lb dog in the trunk, and the seat back mats were great.
Ryan, what's your discount code for the Tesla 3 3D mats?
Few things, under seat storage cubbies, for, the Y are awesome. Also a tilt for the screen, and for sun glasses…a behind screen plastic mount with tissue holder is wwesomev
Armrest cover is a must have item. Tesla sent my car for 2 weeks to repair a paint defect to their "approved " provider.
They stained my car seats, armrest and blamed in on the snow. This armrest was almost brownish. I just threw it away, but it saved my interior, so it was worth the price. I couldn't take the stains out completely.
Hello Ryan, do you have a discount code for the Teslarati Pet Cargo Cover?
Well done! I need several of these.
Question on the MagBak: when swapping tires, does it need to be removed?
I am waiting for Juniper, and I loved this video.... 🎉🎉🎉
I'm surprised not many people are commenting about how well this video was produced. Every single point was enunciated and very well articulated. You are the Phillip Defranco of Car EV news; You curate EV content very well and provide informative points, and I'm loving all of it! Much love from NC
This video had good timing. I thought I had more time to buy but my delivery just got updated from May to end of march..
The car looks so sweet with those extras, nice job!
Since floor mats aren’t available yet for the refreshed model 3, what did you get for yours?
The old 3 mats fit fine. The body of the floor is still the same car.
The OEM mudflaps are disappointing.
On my model y performance any speed bump I would go over I would hear em scrap very disappointing
@@glintrhmjhow is this disappointing?
@@MrEddyedr cause it used to always sound like I was scrapping the bottom of the vehicle they should be better designed
@@glintrhmj they are doing what they are supposed to do. That’s the point of them.
@@MrEddyedr ok but I got other third party one which did the same job without the scraping noise and always touching the road on speed bumps. Do you like work for Tesla? Like did you design these oem mudflaps for Tesla?
Might have to try some.
can you put multiple accessories into the CAN bus?
All look good! BUTTONS: remember you also have a voice commands for many Tesla functions. Happy Trails!
Only thing I prefer the spigen screen protector both for installation and quality
Thanks for the reviews. I'm going to buy a Quick Bandit anyway, but it's disappointing that even when you spend $140, they don't give you stainless steel screws. See 4:53 in the video for visible corrosion (rust) on the hardware. Only good thing is that it's behind the plate.
Love the accessories really improve the look.
In the TH-cam channel A 21:32 state of charge, they showed how Electrify America has fine print saying that your CCS adapter has to be provided by the car OEM. Third-party are not allowed.
Great content Ryan! Appreciate the video.
I ordered a 2023 Model 3 in September 2023 and when it arrived 17th February 2024, it presented with no stalks. After a few days I noticed the steering wheel buttons were not reliable, the sweet spot for each seemed to shift. Sometimes the buttons seized up completely. After a couple of weeks, Tesla checked the vehicle's data and confirmed the buttons were faulty. The steering wheel got replaced today and now the same problem is starting to happen again.
I noticed in your video (when I could see you pressing the turn signal buttons), your thumb appeared to be pressing more than once, sometimes three times, before the indicator activated. See 4:50 - 3 times?, 13:50 2 or 3 times before the indicator activated, 25:30 button seemed to be pushed but no indicator, 26:30 you pushed the button really hard! This is what I've been experiencing and what I deem to be a very unsafe situation. Around 14:50 your buttons seemed to work first press and you said that the new buttons make for less hand muscle memory to a stalk lever but I say they require more muscle thumb pressing with no reliable memory when the sweet spot moves or is non-existent. There have been times when the buttons seemed to seize up completely on me. Many times impossible to use in fast tight turning situations such as indicating out of roundabouts (required by law in my state) or when parking or three-point-turns require use of indicating and gear shifting in fast occurring combinations.
This Model Tesla is a beautiful car to drive but unfortunately it has caused me very ugly and worrying failures. I see failure of design over reliable function. For 10 years I wanted a Tesla and at age 63 finally I saved up for it. I didn't get the model I ordered which clearly showed stalks. But beyond that, I know when it's important to lift any bias I might have and highlight failures when I see them, especially when they may impact road safety to not only the driver but to others on the road as well.
an additional benefit of the solid state ssd vs the thumb drive is the ssd will manage nand wear levels, the thumb drive on the other hand might die prematurely.
They same company that makes the S3XY buttons makes a programmable smart knob with screen for the center console… way better than the buttons and a real game changer imo
The sexy knob is a more elegant and versatile addition as opposed to the sexy buttons. It’s worth the extra money in my opinion.
When are you expecting highland accessories to be available? And what of these existing ones fit the highland? I will be taking delivery in the next few weeks (hopefully - my dates have already moved 3 times) and would love to have at least the floor mats prior to delivery. Preferably the floor mats for all areas I’m in the USA Thanks for this comprehensive review
Halo BLK makes plenty, I use their mats and other accessories for my model y, love them.
@@MrEddyedr I was thinking the new model 3 might have different dimensions than the older version for floor mats. It’s an inch longer. Not sure where they’ve put that inch
@@lakent39 yeah they make them for the highland model already.
@@MrEddyedr cool!!!! Thanks for the info!!!
Nice review dude, some cool additions for sure.
Taptes does the same for a 3rd of the price but they are very slow if you buy it from China.
Does anyone know if the old model 3 floor mats can be used on the new model 3? I’m assuming the dimensions are pretty much the same
im curious about this too
I didnt know that you can still have the wood trim with a white interior! Mine has white and white
I got read some BS from Tesla service when I was having issues with auto pilot not being able to be turned on and how my custom portable SSD I was using for Sentry Mode and how the drive was too big for the car and how I need to buy a new flash drive from them. The drive I have is a 512GB SSD and is only used for Sentry Mode recordings. Magically over the course of a few weeks/months my Auto Pilot issue no longer an issue and I still use the same drive as it was fixed by an update without being disclosed in any of the release notes.
The Tesla service people only know what they know. The depth of knowledge maybe greater on X.
Normally carrying bikes inside a car can work out well enough, but I don't know if I would recommend it. Much better to have a carrier that attaches outside the car.
Need solution for Model Y cabin booming. Trunk pad adjustment and PVC caps don't help. 😩
I shoved 5/16” polyethene tubing into the rear hatch seal through the small holes, and it made a huge difference in my 2023 MY. I found a reddit post on it somewhere and gave it a shot and although i accidentally ripped a couple holes in the seal, the booming noise is much quieter! I would probably try 1/4” tubing as it should be easier to get in and maybe will accomplish the same thing. The hatch will be tough to close for a while, but it gets better with time. 1/4” will probably help with that too.
This. 5/16” vinyl tubing in the seal will solve your booming. Can’t believe Tesla doesn’t address this major issue that a lot of people seemingly have.
@@anna-fk8ql How would I determine if the stripping is properly sealed? Going to try vinyl tubing next.
You've convinced me, gonna order that screen protector tonight.
ESR has one that’s on sale
Good to know!!
Should love floor mats only for the driver side... 5 pack
I didn't know I couldn't live without the portable air compressor or puncture repair kit until I watched this video. Amazon...cha-ching! I'm the worst impulse buyer ever. I go to Costco for paper towel and walk out with a couch and a TV.
Cool video!!! Whem I get a Tesla, I will buy some of these accessories!
Careful, if you ever take that rear screen mount off the seat, you’ll notice left a scratch or indent on the plastic
Metal tire valve caps are a bad idea they corode and 2 different metals corroding can cause up told aggravation when you need to remove as a guy that trained tire fitters on behalf of a major tire company , i have seen many broken valves and caps that wont come off needing to be broken to get them off , Plastic is the best option they dont break when you take them off
Magbak is #1. Love my IPhone holder/charger.
Magbak rim protector is legit but not cheap! Saved my rim from few times. However, make sure they are secured in and clipped.
Avoid the Tire Air Caps. They will rust and you will have to cut them off risking more damage. Simple, black plastic is the way to go.
Home out here, hustle, and trying to collect that ad revenue from all these different companies
I used tunedbyai to improve my classic ride, now it really moves!
I bought a cheap insert for my cup holders so they fit my wife's Stanley's lol. also tinted the windows probably illegally dark, I asked for legal but I don't think that's what I got.
I love my MYP
The price is killing me, but I guess is what is it. I want all of them 😭
Actually 19 states do not require front plates. Thankfully I live in one of them.
who the hell is buying that backpack for him to keep including it in every acc video lmao
😂
Do the S3XY buttons void the warranty when installed?
I asked the same about installing an auto frunk on my y yesterday. As long as you don’t damage anything the warranty is good.
What’s the name of the woman who has 800,000 followers?
Overmatting is annoying. I've seen people get mats to protect their mats... I stick with OEM carpeted mats and stop the insanity there.
I don’t think anything was said about overmatting. If one lives or drives where there is weather, appropriate mats are required. Since I ski a lot, protection from water & dirt/mud is a must.
In Washington, all weather mats a required.
I own the 3D mats for my Model 3 and they are way better than carpet mats. As Ryan mentioned they clean up easy and are durable. I did have buy mats because I got a RWD, but my Camry mats look rough after only a couple of years of use. I had a hole where my heal would sit and they were hard to clean.
@@kevtheobald I use halo blk hybrid mats, I just undo the nylon carpet and throw it in the wash when I need it. Love them
Kinda pricey though lol
Overpriced Tesla hyped
I'want 5.000 $ buy car, but i'don't have😢
Nothing new here
So, the whole video is just a big uninterrupted ad ?
First
congratulations
Tesla has minimalistic interior and you clatter it with some ugly useless buttons 👎
It for people that want options, the cool thing about having a minimalist interior is that it gives you space to make it your own.
I got locked from using my auto steer on my Tesla for a week. No summons and no auto steer which I have paid for. What’s next I can’t drive my car? Next EV or self driving car will not be a Tesla.
Can you say beta?
Was it because your eyes weren’t facing the road? Mine doesn’t even let me look at the screen for a couple seconds
