    I'm currently working on building out a board for the Trello for entrepreneurs course I'm creating. The course will allow you to organize and manage your entire business from Trello. Let me know what you plan on adding into Trello in the comments below.

      This was the Best Trello Tutorial Ever ! I'd say it's the Best Tutorial Period On TH-cam ! Very simple and to the point. The other Trello Tutorials tend to overcomplicate things and confuse me. This one is perfect.

    Have been looking for a simplified Trello intro video to help non-technical riding instructors understand how Trello works - and why we recommend it to organize their equine curriculums - and THIS is it! Great graphics, just the right amount of detail, perfect presentation. Many thanks!

      I hear you on this! This software/app will literally change your life. The visual aspect of Trello is game changing vs a standard boring to do list. If you need any help with anything else let me know.

    Bravo!! This is such a great overview of Trello! So concise and gets someone right to what they need to know to get started. I’m going to send this to all of my clients!
    I’m using Trello to show my clients what stages of completion each of their projects are at. I use board template and copy each client name from the template as I start working on tasks. It’s great but I have to go into each board one at a time to see what work needs to be done. If there is a way to connect tasks or to do’s from different client boards on to a main personal Get Things Done workflow for myself so I could see different tasks from different boards on one workspace (or board) that would be a great video! (for me).

      Thanks for the great feedback and I'm happy you found this video helpful. I also GREATLY APPRECIATE you sharing this video with others.
      Yes there is a way to sync cards where you can have a master board and it syncs with cards on other boards. It's called "2-Way Board Sync" and there is a power-up where that can easily be done. I will put that video higher up on my to do list. I also use GTD so this power-up would be perfect.

    Can we go a level deeper? i.e. Can we make tasks in a checklist into cards that nest under a parent card? I want more visibility than the checklists in cards, but the labels feel too broad.
    For example, I'm creating a deck to pitch an idea. The label might be "Fundraising." The card would be "Create Pitch Deck." Inside of the card, I might have 10 tasks that I want visibility into e.g. "Outline deck," "Find stats on X," "Create Revenue Model," etc.
    What would you recommend for this use-case? Thanks!

    • @theviablecoach
      @theviablecoach  ปีที่แล้ว

      Both Trello and Jira integrate well with Salesforce. It all depends on your workflow you have. I would read "Sale-ing Away With The Trello And Salesforce Integration" on Trello
      s blog. It breaks down the Trello to Salesforce integration. If you need more then what that integration provides I would pick Jira. Hope that helps.

      Thanks for the feedback. I'm happy that you found this video valuable. Your input is great and I plan on doing GTD video series in the near future. I've used GTD since 2017 and never looked back since. OneNote is on my list. it's planned for July right now with an entire series and playlist. I have a few more Trello tutorials to publish first, but be on the lookout for OneNote videos.

    I started working for a CEO as his Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant. I manage his Philly business such as travel calender, his multiple homes, their expensive art collection, the childrens sports events and the familys yearly events. They new a program like this. Where do I begin? What would this look like? Could you do a video for this?

    • @theviablecoach
      @theviablecoach  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Melanie! Trello would be a great solution for this. I can do a video later on about this, but let me give you some ideas to get you started. I would create one main workspace. From there I would create a board for each one of the following (Travel / Homes / Art Collection / Kids & Family). From there add the calendar power-up to all boards.
      Travel Board: Create lists for each trip. Create cards for each item or part of the trip or tasks that need to be done. Use due dates on each card if needed. You can use cards to add in specific travel information like flight info, hotel info or travel accommodations.
      Homes Board: Depending on how many homes I would create a list for each home. Fist card would be the home address and any basic info related to the house. Whatever needs to happen at those homes I would put those in cards.
      Art Collection Board: Not sure how extensive this is and might need more info, but if he has multiple collections and/or multiple locations you can do multiple lists for each one of those. If its just one collection I would find a way to categorize the art into multiple lists (Ex. paintings, sculptures, etc.). The make a card for each piece.
      Kids & Family Board: I would combined those categories because it all relates to each other. I would create a list for each person in the family including kids. Make cards for each event for the kids. Make a list for family events.
      I hope this helps you get started. I would need more information about the specific situation to help any further. Feel free to reach out to me at karl@theviablecoach.com

      In order for the card to turn green you have to check off all the boxes within the checklist. So when you click into a card, hit the checklist button to add a checklist. From there add items to your checklist. Once you click on ALL of the boxes to the left of the items the front of the card will change green. All items much be checked. Let me know if that helps?

    My Trello screen doesn’t look anything like that. What’s the difference between the iOS app and whatever it is you’re using? Even if I use a browser, it has way fewer features than what I see here. I’d really like to be able to see all the powerups and the calendar option.

    Hello
    I really liked your video. I have one question for you. I use Trello for my small business. To send SMS notifications to clients, I use Google messages, which is connected to an Android mobile phone. Is it possible to connect Trello with Google messages? Maybe with the help of Zapier or some other app.
    My goal is that when the card in trello is marked as completed, the client will receive an SMS message on his android or apple phone

    • @theviablecoach
      @theviablecoach  ปีที่แล้ว

      Trello doesn't have the option to do it with the base software. You are going to have to use Zapier with Text Integration app. Right now Google messages does not link with Zapier right now.
