Does it work? If you want to clean a tile floor, it does well on the tile, just not on the grout. The surface of the grout is lower than the tile's surface, and the spinning pad can not scrub into the grout line. Just did 400 or 500 square feet of floor in a kitchen/dining and foyer. The grout lines were dark in some areas, and I had to get on my hands and knees + use a heavy-duty grout-cleaning liquid product to get a good result along with the Shark S7000/1. Like seemingly all steam mops it's just not robust enough for cleaning the grout on a tile floor. The amount of steam that comes out of this product is modest. What is needed is a spinning brush rather than a spinning pad product. But I suppose the mechanism required to spin brushes and the brushes themselves are likely to be considerably more expensive. I don't see a product on the market for home use that has good consumer ratings. If you have found one, let us know.
