I purchased this steam mop a couple of months ago and absolutely love it. Can’t believe how much dirt it picks up even when the floor looks clean to start with !! Ps you can always sprinkle some Zoflora on the pad before steaming

It would be useful to be told that this mop does not stand by itself and it is quite heavy. I've just used it for the first time and do like it. The steam is continuous so if u need to clear things away in order to mop, the steam won't stop. Just a few things to bear in mind
Just been using my sis in laws, on carpet and its fab on there too, we add some fabulous disinfectant, baby powder smell one and the house smells amazing

I came back later to a single, bright clean tile ... Ugh ! So ... we scrubbed the floor by hand, with bleach, thinking that if we started off brilliantly clean the Shark would KEEP it clean with those scrubby wiggly lines. No ..... it doesn't. It looks ok until you get up close or wipe with a scrubby sponge. My tiles are throughout most of my house .. and they are the type with a slight texture on top ... really shallow, so I'm not that happy with i9t. Was fine for the smooth floors ... but it is heavy and doesn't stand alone and I think there have to be better models !!!!
No hand held accessories for cleaning windows, grouting, surfaces over doors etc? For that price point you can get other brands that have hand held options. I might give this one a miss
@@mariaharkin4818 Nobody answered me regarding this but I just think that the part in question is just an optional extra. You can buy it from the Shark Website but I dont think it comes with it. At least that’s what I come to the conclusion of. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately if you have laminate or completely smooth shiny tiles this Shark Mop is great ..... but if you have the least bit of texture in your tile ... forget it. You will think its clean ... until like me you spill something on your tiles and wipe it up with a scrubby sponge . I was left with a single very clean tile. The grey lines on the mop do NOT get into the slight texture. So we scrubbed it, by hand, and with bleach ... and thought it would now stay clean and bright with the mop and those magic wiggly line ... No. It doesn't clean into the texture. It's back to grey. So its good for smooth floors ... but not the textured tiles ... shame ... a real shame !
Thanks for the video... Why don't you just use a product as well to get a better finish? You made the video 10 months ago.. Are you still happy with this cleaner? We live in France and only have hard floors.. One partner who never cleans and two daughters who are also allergic to cleaning - so the man will have to do the DIY and the cleaning!
It's recommended by Shark NOT to put any product into the water, and to use distilled to avoid hard water problems. You can throw it in with your other rags or rough clothes so it makes no difference and you would run this a max of 5 - 10 mins a week so I really doubt it makes much difference

Im getting the basic shark steam mop today!! Cant wait to try it out! Never had one before.

the steam is not continuous - it's only continuous on one side of its flip . . . never seen a fee standing mop

You shouldn't do this as zoflora is flammable and the inside of the mop gets very hot. Spray diluted zoflora on the floor before mopping 👍

perhaps a drop of essential oil? but floor clear for example will corrode the insides of the mop or the stuff you get for ironing

Yes it looks cool, but after using the steam mop and then cleaning it in your washing machine your electric bill will go through the roof!
