So your Stargrave painting video led me into Five Parsecs - I don't blame you, so much as thank you. :) And as Five Parsecs is to Stargrave, it seems so is Five Klicks to Zona Alfa. So I just picked that up. Nice to have some good solo options since it's challenging for me to get in gaming with others.
Glad to hear you've found them useful! It's definitely a challenge these days to get some face to face gaming in, but the Nordic Weasel line are generally really good for giving you a toolbox to rummage around in. Five Leagues from the Borderlands is also getting a hardback third edition through Modiphius which I think just went up for pre-order, if you're feeling some grimy fantasy action, and Five Men at Kursk always gets a solid recommendation from me. :D
i want these minis! i ordered some from another wonderful sculptor but have to wait about a month for them to print and ship >_> worth the wait tho lol
Those two minis are super cool. Love the patch on the coat. Really added a survivalist feel to the mini. Post Apocalypse is my favorite genre. Working on a cannibal clan for This Is Not A Test. I'll have to check out Anvil Industries to see when these are available and grab a few.

As always this turned out great. Have you ever considered doing some challenge type stuff? Maybe paint only shadows (no washes) or airbrush lighting effects. I think you'd be great at them with your painting experience. It would be fun to go on that journey with you if you haven't tried them out.
Possibly, though it's unlikely to be any time soon. Challenge-style painting doesn't often strike me as being terribly practical except for very specific uses, but if they're relevant to a particular miniature or style I'm trying to achieve, they might be worth trying out.

Would you get a more consistent result if you put the transfer on before you put the wash on? At the moment the badge is a clean spot on a grimed up model. Overall effect is very nice.

Admittedly I'm not a big fan of the material Modiphius uses to make their miniatures. I'd not say 'never,' but except for the Vault Dwellers, I wouldn't paint anything too differently to this.
@@SonicSledgehammerStudio yeah I am no learning that hard ways of working with resin miniatures and trying to strip them by denatured alcohol. Let's just say the material didn't melt but sure as heck softened up lmao

The torsos and heads work so well with a bunch of options in their range, I'll have to try them on some Cadian legs at some point as well.

Have you ever noticed Vallejo Model Color has two paints named Green Grey? 971 and 886. Madness, I tell you.
Those two paints are why I started including Vallejo's number codes, funnily enough!

Oh man I love this scheme! Might have to try it on my genestealer cultists, any recommendations on armour colour? I'm thinking black is pretty safe
I'd probably look at a light grey, although the rubberized kit the cultists are wearing would probably look good in dark grey/black.

What brushes do you typically use?
Ordinarily a mix of Army Painter and Citadel brushes, with a handful of cheap stationary store ones thrown in for when I want to do something rougher.
