I'm a certified Gunsmith and Licensed FFL dealer, I've been looking for some grips I can use on my custom builds, I ordered 1 set to try them on my personal gun at first. I'm very impressed these Grips are my new go to grips, the First key to a good adhession is to clean surface area i cleaned mine 3 times just to make sure, 2nd key is heat don't over heat I used a digital heat gun I can set my heat, I set mine to 145 3rd key is to go over your corners add little heat and push outward
I really like mine on my g19. What I did was put one layer of goon tape over the grips. You still feel the grip under it. It makes it a little softer but more importantly it keeps the grip from wearing off. Cause if you shoot a lot those edge series will wear down in 3-5 months
The sandpaper grips work great but wear everything around the gun, holsters and shirts but they do work great. Those look good .Thanks for sharing . God bless.
i was a talon grip guy as well. after trying the handle it tape i am a new customer. especially the edge series. amazing grip tape. now i have it on my entire collection. you will love them !!!
Anybody tried this grip and the Talon Pro version? I really like the Talon but I’ve noticed that the backstrap and upper areas wear off pretty quickly. I’m wondering if these lasts longer.
I installed these on my G32 a month ago, loved the way they felt went I first installed. Now it doesn't feel the same and doesn't have that same grip already. Bummer.
@@jesseboutdoors Hey man, thanks for the reply! I couldn't decide between their regular rubber grips or the edge. My main concern was my shirt catching on the grip when carrying concealed.
I prefer the rubber texture grips. I put this on my Mete MC9 and they are cutting my thumb. The edge is too sharp. Compared to the feel I have with the other two guns I have used the HandleIt grips, these are a bit too sharp. Maybe if they were on a full size gun that would be different. The compact has a little more snap to it.
@glenwiederholt9400 after a week of using them having same issue. Too rough and my thumbs and fingers starting to peel. I just ordered the rubber grips

I’m always shooting different guns so it probably won’t wear out. Thanks for the info and watching.
I have the Extreme edition for my Glock 22, absolutely love them and i get to support a American company.
Got to love them 👍🇺🇸
@@jesseboutdoors I will have to say the extreme edition is not for concealed carry it will rub against your skin.
I’m sure that’s nice for some but prefer to stipple with a soft stipple for width and comfort, especially carrying. 👍
I gotta get me a set for my glock 22 I'm hearing alot of good thing about these grips
The sandpaper grips work great but wear everything around the gun, holsters and shirts but they do work great. Those look good .Thanks for sharing . God bless.
Yes I’m not a fan of sandpaper ones. Thanks for watching.
@@jesseboutdoorsare these like sandpaper
@@andrewjackson6961 they are like a rubbery sandpaper. Not as harsh as sandpaper.
Great review Jesse ... I've been using Talon Grips on my pistols for years and love them. I'll give these guys a look and maybe a try😉👍👊🇺🇸
They are definitely nice.

I can’t answer your question but thanks for watching.
Yeah, the talon pro grips wear out quickly for me too. I would guess these are the same.
Have a set of Talon granulated for over year and still looks and feels great however they do wear my holster .
Afternoon Jesse!!
Afternoon CW

That’s strange. Mine where good up till I got rid of the gun. Thanks for watching.
Nice I like Talon may try these next time
I’ve never tried the talons yet.
Will the Edge Series grip snag or catch on your shirt when carrying IWB? Is it as abrasive as sandpaper grips?
It’s a rubber kind of grip with good texture. It doesn’t catch on my shirt’s. Thanks for watching.
@@jesseboutdoors Hey man, thanks for the reply! I couldn't decide between their regular rubber grips or the edge. My main concern was my shirt catching on the grip when carrying concealed.
Those do have a nice look to them!
Yep
THANKS MAN!!! 👍🏽

I’m actually a bigger fan of the rubber ones now also. Thanks for watching.
@glenwiederholt9400 after a week of using them having same issue. Too rough and my thumbs and fingers starting to peel. I just ordered the rubber grips
I have this grip it’s amazing to me
I just shot the gun with them on for the first time. They are great.
I wonder how durable they will last, or with shooting they fall apart like talon grips hybrid grip.
Not sure. These are my first ones.
Do you still use it? Have you noticed any wear and tear since installation?
I sold the gun last month. It was still on there fine. Thanks for watching.
Good for conceal?
I like them better than the stock Glock texture. Doesn’t tear my shirts up and feels better against the skin. Thanks for watching.
Unfortunately the set for my GX4 don't line up
Get a hold of them and let them know. Thanks for watching.
That's nice!!
They are.
anyone install these with beaver tail back strap on ?
I haven’t. Thanks for watching.
They look similar to the pro version of talon grips is it like cross between the sandpaper and rubber grip
These ones are more rubber. I like that better than sandpaper.
Will it tear you up concealing it appendix do you think?
I don’t think it would. Depends on how sensitive your skin is.
Just put these on my CZ p10c and I gotta be honest it’s ugly asf lol
En España bananagrip
You need to get closer to the mike.
I have a different microphone setup now since I did this video. Thanks for watching.
What’s the difference between the edge grips and extreme somebody please get back to me
I’ve only had the edge so I can’t help you out. Thanks for watching.
