Just purchased the 2024. Railed the forestry trunk AB 2WD, steep, rocky, massive puddles. Never had to lock, hardly every used 4low unless I hit larger degree 25+ angles. Truck is equipped!
I’d challenge that this whole trip could’ve been done in 2WD
Especially with the rear locked
You can't lock the rear in 2WD
@@netcruzercarsyou are very correct. But there's a very simple mod, "which i did and now i can lock it anytime i want ‼️☝️👌 just purchased a 24 pro4x and love it ‼️👌
I just recently purchased a 2023 Nissan frontier pro 4X It's identical to the one in this video Except for the 23 you can Put it in 4 high while you are driving.
About engaging the locker , it needs a full rotation before it will work. So especially when on steep sketchy ledge where going in reverse might be a nightmare I put lockers on b4 you need em .

Did I hear right? The rear Locker will not engage when your in 4 Wheel Drive. If so that’s a bummer. I have a new 022 SV, I Love it. It is one sales package below a Pro 4 X. I do wish I had all the Slid Plate protection. Thank you for your video. I will look for more if you do more.
You can only use the mechanical diff lock in 4L. There might be a DIY hack to have it engage in 4H, but in 4H the traction control uses the brakes to transition power around tire to tire. I’ll play around with all this in the snow this winter to feel the differences.
@Netcruzer CARS I keep seeing this in comments 🤔but mine either engages or stays locked after taking out of 4L.
Trust me it is possible to be even in 2wd with it engaged
The rear differential breather is on top right next to the rear locker.
I’m so blind apparently. I’ve still not got a look at that to see where it goes. Does it have an extension or just a port?

I was going to put an extra fuel tank on the inside of the bed you think it worked I'm going to enjoy my life I'm 61 years I took it earlier retirement
I'm going camping a lot this for my extra tank if it gets low if I can't find on gas I know time is hard
