I have the 41 with the racing green dial on the brown leather strap. Wearing that bad larry right now. the IWC green dials are next level. Surprisingly there has not been a lot of TH-cam coverage on this version despite it being the gorgeous beast it is.
My wife got this watch for me for graduation and I love it (in the green version that also had a black band with the green accents instead of the pink one). So happy to see you do a review on it, even if you may not have loved it as much as I do. Lol

The hue of the grade 5 Titanium on this watch is quite perfect with the theme of the watch. The beauty of the matte grey dial under certain lighting differentiates this with the other pilot 41 imo. I hope IWC releases more watches in this colour (I think the only other IWC in this hue is the titanium Ingenieur)

Cool watch but also kind of feels like it’s too reminiscent of the Tiffany blue fad even tho I know it’s not connected to that. Still wouldn’t wear that color but great idea on white markers and 41/titanium.

Yes, the turquoise is AMG Petronas. The other strap looks neon orange. - Buying the buckle separately: exactly, they assume you are not going to wear the strap. It’s just a nice to have, in the box or on the bedside table. JLC think so too.

The underlying movement is essentially a gussied up Valjoux 7750, but they get a bit angsty if you point that out. This is just too much of a slab of watch on the wrist. Steel on titanium just sets my teeth on edge. A very hard no from me and that's before we get on to the green colour.

I actually applaud IWC (something I rarely do) for NOT putting a tachymeter scale on this thing. It's silly enough to think of an actual race car driver or team member needing a mechanical watch at all this century, but the tachymeter is an outdated feature even by mechanical watch standards, let alone one trying so hard to look like F1 future-tech. Good on 'em.
Its so green that you need to complete the package with Petronas employee green lanyard, Petronas corporate shirt and bottle of Petronas Engine Oil💚 I wont be surprised if one of the Petronas executives would rocking with this around Petronas Twin Tower 💪🏻💚
