Got the IWC Pilot's Chronograph 41 with the racing green dial back in Jan 2022 and it is such a hot watch. Their chronographs are shadowed by the popularity of the Speedy, The Daytona, and even some Zenith. Most IWC customers go for the Mark XX or the Big Pilot's when it comes to the pilot watches, so getting a the chronograph is like being in a more special IYKYK club.
I do love titanium watches. I have three in my collection. They are some of the most comfortable to wear. The grey colour is also so nice, so different from the SS watches. Very nice that IWC, agree with you Andy, you wear it and it is exclusive.
I enjoyed trying on this piece side by side with the aqua dial IWC Ingenieur. Although I felt the Ingenieur was overpriced I thought the chrono was offered at a fair wedge. Both handsome pieces with a unique twist.
Great review Andy. You need a couple of drinks maybe a few mint mojito, plenty of green colour to match the t shirt and the hat. It’s more of a mint colour. So i will be getting the IWC blue dial 43 on the bracelet. Not owned an IWC watch before. But always wanted to get one at some point. I have enough omega, Rolex models. So want to mix it up a bit like the Mojito cocktail. 🍹. I will however be buying a leather strap/ rubber for it. It looks better in my opinion on a strap. It’s just wise to buy the watch on a bracelet. As the bracelet would cost a lot more to purchase separately. I like the fact it has easy bracelet change. No fear of scratching the lugs, with the tool. But hopefully I may get it in 2025. Depending on how I spend my money. Thanks.
I do like the teal highlights very attractive, and the matching rubber strap looks great. Wonderful acquisition, Andy. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a happy and successful New Year. 😊
@davidsandrovitch7635 The teal highlights like cool but it seems very limiting for a watch. I like to do a lot of strap and bracelet changes on my watches.
Such a stunning watch and I’ve been looking forward to this review! As a Leclerc fan I could never wear a MERC watch, but it’s gorgeous. Have a great Christmas Andy!
I think IWC watches are for the most part fairly priced given these are supposed to be luxury items and for the chrono’s these are up against the moonwatch, Zenith el primero’s or breitling B01’s and hold their own. I would love a Big Pilot but a bit too much for me and maybe the only model IWC do where I can’t quite see the value £10k for a three hand steel watch with a power reserve am I missing something? I also think that Tag Carrera is a stunning drive watch and would definitely be on my short list.
Hi Andy lovely watch from an interesting brand however there is an unresolved issue regarding their movement in the very popular Spitfire 3 hander I.e. minute hand often jumps backwards when pulling the crown out to the setting position ! This is a well documented fault amongst Spitfire owners with no apparent fix offered by IWC!?
Congratulations Andy! I’m curious to know what happened to your beautiful Mazda? Has it been transformed as part of the new order? It is undoubtedly a step up from the GTS in every way, but we would love to know how you made that decision. We love cars as much as watches!! I wish you the best and many more videos in 2024! Regards
There is a story to be told and I plan to do it at some point. I took footage of the last outing in the mighty Mazda with full intention. It was a spur of the moment good decision and almost a year ago.
I wish Omega used grade 5 more regularly, 2 scratches far too easily. love the IWC, I was tempted with one a few months ago, turquoise is my favourite colour, and it was hard to say no.
A lovely watch.... I've been thinking about titanium, how have you found it? You mentioned its worn well..... Have you bavied the watch or is it pretty scratch resistant
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Could you help me with something unrelated: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
Yes, have considered branching out. Watches are nice, but a little niche. There are things out there worth talking about that are worthy of a point and shoot style. I’ll try a few things and see what lands. Thanks for the encouragement.
Congratulations Andy. Here's my question, what the watch will you wear if the RAF asks you to be in the back seat of a Typhoon to defend Scotland from the moscow orcs?
O was going to guy this watch. But, after it was discontinued, it is at the same price as the latest IWC Portugieser Chrono. The Portugieser is much more Watch. I Will to with the Portugieser.

Enjoyed hearing about this watch. I'm a huge IWC Fan.

IWC is easily one of my favorite brands. Excellent choice! Looks great!

I own the regular IWC Pilot Chrono 41 and love it. Thenks for the review.

I have the green dial version and experience +2 sec per day accuracy. A great watch!

A really great looking piece.

Thx Dean. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. Wear in good health and have a great Christmas.

I saw this watch in the flesh, it is beautiful.

Beautiful watch
Beautiful watch!
Whatever makes you happy, Andy 🙂
Nice watch. Impressed by IWC Calibres but I find them too thick/slab sided. Enjoy it over the festive period
Great watch
that's a cool watch I must say
Merry Christmas !!! 🎄🎁
Good review.

I don’t tend to batter my watches, but normally you’d pick up a few small scratches day to day. Not a mark on this one 👍

🤔…….no
Would you consider doing videos for other topics unrelated to watches? Maybe rockets, history of science, english society etc.
Yes, have considered branching out. Watches are nice, but a little niche. There are things out there worth talking about that are worthy of a point and shoot style. I’ll try a few things and see what lands. Thanks for the encouragement.
I got the green dial chrono at 43mm, merry christmas
Congratulations Andy.

Blimey. Would love that. Maybe I’d need to rush out buy the all ceramic Top Gun version.

The Portugieser is much more Watch. I Will to with the Portugieser.
This video is so quiet it's almost silent. CC on.
I love IWC!
Something wrong with the recorded volume. Impossible to hear.
I think the watch is gorgeous, but unfortunately most IWC’s are too big for me..😢
I’ll stick to my Batman that i paid rrp for
Best way to enjoy it 👌
Time to sell that and get a Richard Mille.
LEWIS now drives for FERRARI.
