Nice video! Love your Jeep layout, gives me good ideas. One thing I would suggest is getting a weather seal that fills the gap between the body and the window hatch that way rain doesn't come straight down
Thank you so much for this video! My next purchase in the exact drawer system with the flip n slide from American Aventure lab. I was trying to figure out how to utilyze the rear window area, which I currently have stuffed with blankets and a pad to lay down for repairs. XG Cargo looks like a nice solution.
Yeah, the rear seat delete made things alot more comfortable for the dogs. It just means no back seat passengers unless you take an hour or so to pull it out and put the seat back in.
Can you please share the details on your iPad mount? I see Bulletpoint has a 20 mm ball that uses the bolt on the grab handle, but your iPad holder looks different than what they offer. Great video btw!
I used the 20mm Flange with Coupler from Bulletpoint, which attaches at the grab handle bolt location. However, I can't remember where I got the actual clamp for the ipad. I was just searching my orders trying to find it, but no luck. If I do find it i'll repsond again.
Found it: www.amazon.com/Bulletpoint-Mounting-Solutions-Universal-Compatible/dp/B09YYZRRHK I ended up not using the arm that it came with when we relocated the mount from the Rubigrid location to the grab handle. I think Bulletpiont may have a nwer version now.
Out of curiosity, I see a lot of mods for hands free phone holders.....Doesn't almost every vehicle now days., including Jeep, have bluetooth incorporated into the screen and hands free on the steering wheel???? Why would you not just put the phone in the console or glove box and let what you have already available work for you??
Hi Mike, our glovebox and console are pretty full with other things. We decided to use the hands free set partly for accessibility. We use CarPlay and often snap pics/video from the dash using the phones.
With the bullet point phone mount are there any sort of vibrations or movements with it? I have a cheap mount right now and my phone is constantly vibrating around which is really annoying.
If you're on a really gnarly washboarded road, you can get some vibration. However, I pull the arm down so that it touches the soft part of the dash and it's super solid with no vibrations.
No... It's so far back that I don't really notice it. We also have the Trailrax on the outside of those rear windows, but that hasn't seemed to be a problem either.
It's just an LED light strip that uses very little power, and we only use it from the time it gets dark until we turn in for the night. It just doesnt pull enough power to impact the battery at all.
We are using the CB Radio Holder www.bulletpointmountingsolutions.com/products/cb-radio-holder-with-20mm-ball?variant=40630810509427 with one of their longer arms.
Oh man long list of things. All cooking and eating devices, pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils. Spices, sauces, cleaning items, body wipes, small wipes, napkins, drone and GoPro stuff. I'm sure I'm missing things. 😝
Hey Chris… another viewer asked the same question, it really is a good option. Here is a link to the mount on Amazon- amzn.to/4bMKLCv I ended up not using the arm that it came with when we relocated the mount from the grid to the grab handle. This has been working out really well for us! Cheers-
My 85 lb Labrador just hit me up for getting the “CargoDog.”
Great video. Nice rig.
That is super funny. I'm pretty sure your lab is gonna love it. 😄
Your set up is awesome. Great tips!
Thanks! CargoDog is working out awesome!
Jeep is looking good, just starting on mine. Keep up the great work on the videos and Jeep, but mostly have fun!
Thank you, we appreciate that. Always having fun in the Jeep!! Same to you, have fun and enjoy getting your Jeep setup!
Love the tour! Awesome Wrangler :) it's thoroughly thought out and 100% cohesive in an overland ecosystem.
Thanks! Glad you liked it.

Interesting! I dont actually have any issues with rain coming in right now. Which window hatch are you refering to? Rear hatch?

Yeah the XG cargo has come in handy. We still stuff items like chairs, solar panels and even our toilet up between them and the back windows. 😄
Nice set up
Thank you! Seems like there's always something that needs space . 😄
Good mods...if I keep my JLU I may get that rear seat delete platform..for our Lab

Man, I just bought my Wrangler JL, I won't be able to install any auxilary stuff but im more interested on the camping features that you have.
I'm planning an overlanding pack out video now. Let me know if there is anything particular you are interrested in, and I'll be sure to include it.
Very nicely done. Like your style. We have very similar rigs! And puppies. Lol
Awesome! Love the dogs.

a link to all this gear would be nice..
Good advice... My hope was to include that when I first did the video, but life got really busy. I'll try to get the done ASAP.

Hi what liftkit do u use for jeep wrangler for overlanding and what sz? Thank u
I used the 3.5" Game Changer from Metal Cloak.
Does the cargo bag on the passenger side impact your vision when changing lanes? Thanks for the video.

When you plug the light in at camp, why doesn't it drain your battery if the vehicle is off?

What’s the table you have in the thumbnail?
That is the HeyTrip Folding Camp Table. We love it, lightweight, easy to pack and quick to setup/breakdown. amzn.to/3TTBuBx
