- In this new tutorial series we will cover the basic functionality of the Nord Drum 3P, starting off with browsing kits, replacing sounds in a kit and storing custom kits.

ARE YOU GUYS coming out with a new release of an updated version of the Nord Drum 3P now in late 2023? what are you plans on developing this amazing drum synth? thanks for getting back!
I’d love to know as well. Everytime I think about a 3p I wonder if they’ll come around the corner with a new model which blends the best part of the 2&3 WITH some basic sampling.
@@RishPanjeetJr exactly" I sold mine as I did not like the stone hard and very small pads.. But I did love the sounds it can generate! but it needs to be totally re-invented with the Drummer ergonomically in mind this time around! let's hope someone wakes up now when the Spring comes there in the cold den of Scandinavia

Does the type of kick pedal matters?
When I push the "Drum Select" button, the display only shows
" - - - - ". Is it possible to show the currently used sound of a pad?
Now the question, get this or arturia drumbrute? Oh my bad, This AND the drumbrute of course.
It's a good idea, Drumbrute for the backing track and some changes on the fly, and the Nord Drum for for real improvisation with more strange sounds and human feeling with the drumsticks, what do you think?

Where can I find tambourine and claps on the nord clavia 3p?
You can find some claps in the factory sounds. Push the DRUM SELECT button, then search for it with the dial knob.
My 3p drum not bank E and h . is possible?
There would be good to have an own PC/MAC Manager, to tweak the sound in real time. :)
There is a solution for that now. :) It's called Nord Drum 3P editor. I think it's a VST, it's not free, and not developed by Clavia.
How to restore factory settings?
Can I load my own samples in?
This would be great to know, but i don't think so...
It’s not a sample based pad. It’s a Synthesizer that creates the sound as you play. So no, there’s no samples on this and you can’t load samples on it
why the hell are the toms on the bottom row...
You can change it. just read the manual how to change the layout. Mine toms are on the top. ;)
It’s helpful but it would have been much better with a voiceover. It’s a video, ffs, if we wanted to read we would read a manual.
DISAGREE!!! (forgive the 'caps,' I want to be 'heard'). This particular video is GREAT just as it is. There's plenty of time to read and correlate the WELL-WRITTEN captions to what is VISUALLY DEMONSTRATED. There is NOT ANY room for distraction created by a speaker's voice. This is one of the better 'HOW TO' vids I've EVER viewed.
