Frostgrave Battle Report | Loot the Wagon

- Welcome to our fourth Frostgrave battle report! We continue our Frostgrave campaign with Thootstulalah the Snakequeen and Akashara the Witch. These wizards will attempt to gather up some treasure after fidning a broken down wagon on the way to the city of Daldrok!
SCENARIO NOTES:
-Set up the wagon at the center of the board along with 3 treasures located inside. Players also place one treasure token each. To pick up a treasure located in the wagon, players only need to be in base contact with the wagon itself.
-Place 4 enemies (preferably the same type) in contact with the wagon. These enemies will only activate to force combat, or if a player has moved a fighter in contact with the wagon to retrieve a treasure. At this point they will act accordingly to the creature rules.
-At the start of the third round, 4 enemies (preferably the same type, and stronger than the original 4) spawn at the center of each board edge. These creatures will follow the standard creature rules.
-When a treasure is picked up, there will be NO determining die roll to see if an additional creature spawns at the board's edge.
-Each treasure acquired from the wagon contains an extra 20gc in addition to what is discovered.
-10 extra experience points are earned in the scenario for each creature kill.
*These notes are very similar to the battle found in the supplement “Thaw of the Lich Lord” pg.12.

I really enjoy these battle reports! It's so fun to see people playing things that aren't GW or Wizards of the Coast games. Not that there is anything wrong with the "big" companies but the hobby has so much more to offer than simply Warhammer and Dungeons and Dragons.

At first I thought the table was too small, with being able to grab a treasure in the first turn, but it helps keeps the games short. The xp is still always over 200 so it actually seems to be a good design.
Now on to the next series :D

The filming and presentation was excellent as always! The board looks beautiful and you keep getting better at filming great, interesting shots, like the after game scenes!
I liked how both war bands saw each other in the distance and were like, ‘imma yeet these treasure chests off the board and leave, k bye’. Randal blasting three demons with a single spell was definitely impressive, though!
