There has been a lot of negative chatter in the news about India and Pakistan, and I'm sure you've heard a thing or two about the conflict.
But let's take a moment and try to look at these neighboring countries from a different perspective.
After spending nearly 4 months traveling around India and the last 2 weeks in Pakistan -- this video explains my unbiased opinions of comparing and contrasting the two nations.
Long story short, I find there to be A LORE MORE SIMILARITIES than differences between India and Pakistan.

@@russiakavladmir3531 Exactly, I am from Indore (M.P) and I feel the same, when i went to Pune for Job their culture and cuisine was very different from what we have in Indore and going below maharashtra i.e Bengaluru or chennai you will feel like you are in entirely different nation. Also as you said going above MP i.e Delhi or U.P again you will meet different people who will speak different language. Going west you will find Gujarat and Rajasthan which is also very different. So we can say that we are stuck in Middle of this diverse nation and we have option to go all four ways. But i'll prefer western or Northen India over Southern India because I can't eat rice all day :P

Punjab is the most similar as it is essentially the old Punjab province divided by the British but there is a cultural continuity from Sindh and other areas as well across into northern India. Political differences yes, religious differences yes but the cultural similarities are very obvious to outsiders even if many South Asians are in denial about this.
