Well in Dragon Quest 1, you can choose to side with the dragon lord at the end, dooming the world. Then in the spin off game Dragon Quest Builders, you play in the post-apocalypse created by that ending.
DUST Survival Simulator does this in a way, you play as a random hobo in a completely uninhabitable and ruined Mojave which was partly caused by the Courier's actions towards the NCR
Had this idea for a Jurassic Park game years ago. It starts as a city builder park management game, standard stuff, build the park as big and awesome as you can. Then the dinosaurs break out and it goes first person survival as you try to navigate your own park. The better you did at the start the harder it is at the end.
Fallout Dust basically puts you into that exact situation. It imagines a New Vegas on which everything went wrong before, during and after the battle of Hoover Dam, and you play a survivor trying to find your way out of a ruined Mojave infested with tunnelers and filled with the toxic fog of the Sierra Madre among other horrors all caused, in some way or another, by the Courier.
I had absolutely zero idea that the kahns and brotherhood could join the ncr, or that the white gloves could join the legion. Never knew you could play politics so much

If there was only some way to get to Yes Man with Mr. House being alive. Then you could’ve done a Yes Man run where every major power in the Mojave wants to wipe you off the face of the earth!

You know tactically it does make sense. The securitron army is the strongest army out of the factions, especially when upgraded but even if not, so they’ll win no matter what. Throw all the other factions at each others throats and sweep up afterwards is significantly less dangerous than infiltrating them and taking them down from the inside. Ir anything, it sends a bigger message to everyone else when you single-handedly take down everyone in one go.

when you blow up the securitron army you only get 1 basic securitron per map of the finale.
